I'd be happy if they did...I wish the DA would play better politics and understand that compromise is vital for a Leadership Mandate, governance is a separate thing!

I don't understand how it's not the king's fault that his underling officials do not spend money as they should. He is the KING, not a low level groundskeeper. He is supposed to know this stuff by demanding accountability from his 'officials'!

Mike some of us are greatfull for this show as over the last few months , we have been able to peer behind the vale of some of these parties and what we have seen behind the smoke screen has been nothing but puppets with no new ideas under sun and some with just preposterous ideas ........... i must say i have never been more clearer going to the ballots great work...... now on your guest .The IFP destroyed Vryheid , which use to be an economic hub in Zululand ...they have never developed any location they have governed....its just old people with archaic ideals..... ..... no logical young person should cast a vote for these guys leave it to the madalas .....

27:39 Mike you are 100% right, overseas companies should be fully exempt from BEE. Why punish someone who was not even there when the injustices of the past were committed? Only South African companies should address the past injustices and I don't think BEE will correct the injustices of the past, we need another model that will at the same time encourage South African companies to still invest in the country.

@@siyabonganxumalo4574 Legitimate businesses choose not to operate in countries which have discriminatory business laws on the books because there is always the chance that these laws get used against them. This is why we are seeing a flood of companies leaving South Africa like Shell, BHP etc. If you think that investment is a bad thing. just look north of us to see what happens when countries make themselves undesirable to investors. My children benefitted from great educations and good parenting. If the aim is to dispossess them because of laws that favoured their grandparents, they will simply use their skills to build the economies of other countries, which they have sadly done. If you think that it is only talented white young people that are leaving SA, you haven't been concentrating. Black graduates are also leaving SA despite having discriminatory laws in their favour.

The DA was the only party very vocal about devolution of power to provinces, the DA even sent the bills to parliament to be voted on but the DA was called racist and all types of names as usual just for trying to implement common sense legislation.

What the point of Devolution if you still have the same ideology. DA had the Western Cape for 15 years on their own controlling Education and other aspects of governance. Why has the WC for example digressed with Education from top spot for matric to 4th position in non fee paying schools. Why has poor people lives in the WC got worse and unemployment is very high if they doing such a brilliant job.

@@Tinker8531Please come with facts , The unemployment rate in the Western Cape is the lowest in South Africa and continues to decrease, The matric pass rate and retention rate from grade 10 to 12 improved from the 2022 figures and the Western Cape government says it will improve again this year.
