I think that Vegeta had trained his absolute ass off for ten years straight and became strong enough to rival Son Goku on his very own and without the help of someone else.

It's the form he uses in the manga. It's the Rage enhancement on Ssj2.

Am i the only one that was cringing when Sean and Chris were delivering their lines? Goku sounds like a goddamn 5 yr old excited to go trick or treating and vegeta sounded like goku's father who's forever disappointed in him

My theory is they’re trying to cash in on End of Z stuff before it gets retconned. Which would be a shame because the ending is great as is.

Really wish they stopped playing games and just gave Vegeta ssj3 here. Having all these different ways to skate around actually having to achieve the form but getting the same level of power only cheapens ssj3 even further. The sparkle look to the aura could have just been given to both of them in ssj3 and been the mastered version of the form.

Vegeta must have trained the absolute Hell right out of his Base Form, Full Power Super Saiyan, and Super Saiyan 2 forms in order for him to have been able to put up an actual fight against Son Goku's Base Form and then Super Saiyan 3 form.

It be sick if vegeta had the original ssj3 form

Why can't we ever get a mastered SSJ3 form? I find it hard to believe Goku didn't master SSJ3

Back when BoG first came around and we were first introduced to Vegeta's "My Bulma" power up, I started to wonder if SSJ3 had just gotten misnamed the whole time. What if it was never SSJ3 but rather the SSJ2 version of Grades 2 and 3?

What make this scene so good is the fact goku love to fight just to fight he doesn't care if he win or lose give him a good fight and some food best friend for life

Well it lines up with DBZ Battle of Gods when Vegeta's SSJ2 surpassed Goku's SSJ3 against Beerus. Not really NEW form, but rather the new sparkles indicate how more powerful it is now than it was before.

Glad you peeped it too. I’ve been telling people on the vids of the fights that those sparkles along with the electricity proved he’s in mastered or ascended Super Saiyan 2

I know it’s not super but we saw “that’s my bulma” thing and roshi says he stronger then ssj3 at that point and obviously right since beerus took a punch to the face

The moment Vegeta enhanced his Super Saiyan 2 form to the point where it made Super Saiyan 3 Goku sweat, I immediately thought about the DB Super manga version of Future Trunks vs. SS3 Goku at Capsule Corp. In that version of the battle, Future Trunks had Goku on the ropes! I believe Whis pointed out that Trunks was coming across as more skilled/powerful than Goku even if only by a little bit. Regardless, Trunks was so powerful with his enhanced SS2 power that Goku went Super Saiyan God to one shot him with a swift kick to the back of the neck! It was so cool to see Vegeta use what appeared to be a similar power-up to match Goku’s ultimate form at the end of Z.
