As a fun side note, You Raise me up was composed by Rolf Lovland, a fellow Norwegian composer, who founded Secret Garden (and won Eurovision in '95).

Hi Judy! The context is one of the many sophomoric challenges/pranks that were staples of the I kveld med Ylvis talkshow. Vegard had 3 challenges and he succeeded at 2 😂

@@morningswithastrangerI would guess they were sneaking into a hotel room, tricking the interview guy to thinking he was Josh Groban, and sneaking onto the stage at the concert.
The moment Tore Tang was sung in Vestlandet dialect, most Norwegians probably realized that this was someone completely different from Josh Groban. Please react to Old Friends by Ylvis.
