Im not Vegan or vegetarian, I was wanting to try this recipe because I was wanting a semi-healthy option over bacon. And I can proudly say this is absolutely delicious! I’ve never had bacon this crunchy, and it makes it ten times better!

I've used this marinade recipe for making tofu bacon too! I also cube my tofu and use your rice paper bacon marinade and put into tacos!! Delicious & versatile. Love this one forever lol 😆👏

a super underrated vegan bacon is literally just smoked tofu + marinade, I could never really get down with rice paper bacon as I've never been into super crispy bacon but tofu just feels meatier and more like the less crispy bacon I love.

I like to add like crumbled cooked tofu, chili crisp, any veggie.....you can play with it.....and fold it up and fry it. Yum. Once I wrapped all of that with nori and then wrapped the nori square with rice paper and fried on either side. Sesame seeds pressed on the outside are optional but sooo good ❤

You can also fry it and season it to make really airy chips or cinnamon sugar!

Not a vegan, and I don't mean to be mean when I say this but most vegan recipes can't compete with non-vegan counterparts in terms of taste especially those less reliant on a spice blend, yet somehow you made an alternative that is healthier, tastier, and vegan. Tip: start cooking simple, vegan recipes a couple of times a week and then increase it as you learn. I went vegan naturally a couple of years ago but it took about 4 years of phasing animal products out of my diet. Eventually I just stopped enjoying them and stopped eating them naturally.
