the blockage light comes on because the filter needs cleaning. you dont have to wash it just take it out side and pat it as hard as u can untill only small amounts of dust comes out. happy hoovering :)

Hi there. I did and it worked ok for a little while only. The dust blew out of the exhaust too. It's my friends machine, she's not too pleased with it but for the cheap price, she can't complain too much.

This vacuum cleaner is advertised as allergy sufferers friendly. However very often filer gets blocked and you need to "pat it as hard as you can" I can promises you will get covered by dust..

There a P.O.S mine and my neighbour bought ours around the same time about 3 months ago both are over heating and have been unblocked and new filters through out and cleaned..Wouldn't buy another.

ive had same problem til i cleaned out the hose as it was clogged up with stuff after i cleaned out the hose works better

these kind of vacuums havent got a good filtration system on them my friend has the power 5 pet and them filters get clogged always and overheat if used on full power over a long time using it. id recommend to clean out the filters and empty the machine after every use , i do it to my machine and have never had no problem with at all.

My miele vacuum also uses stainless tubes. Where was that vacuum made?

I bought the Power 5 Pet last week but it's the worse vacuum I've ever seen, filter constantly blocks up during every use and has to be taken completely apart to clear it, the hose is flimsy and kinks, the suction is powerful which sounds great but it's so powerful that it lifts the carpets and on hard floors it sticks the ground which makes it impossible to move. Will be returning it to Tesco lol

ScotsBeko Yeah there are not great at all. This machine used to lose most of its auction in use and the blockage light would always illuminate. I'm not sure what happened to it though as my friend gave it to get sister. It also smelled plasticky too lol

Pile of crap is the 6. I have had Mine for a couple of years . And Yes they block for the Blockage light to Continuously come on . Also taking the Canister off the top. there is Normally More dust around the Filter than inside the Cannister .NOW if you turn the Dial up to full Inside the actual Body of the machine. Its sparking and a smell of Burning. so the thing has been a heap Of Trouble from day One. AVOID

most useless machine i have ever used no cyclone action means you end up cleaning the pre filter every time, i have two filters and rinse clean under the tap and leave to dry while fitting the new dry one .if you suck up a tissue you must remove it as it gets blocked in the centre orange part.also have a miele bagged cleaner far better machine will not get another baggless machine easier and cleaner to just change the bags
