Vauxhall Mokka TPMS Warning Light Reset 2014 How to reset the TPMS

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

How to reset the TPMS Warning Light on your Vauxhall Mokka. This is a 2014 model. This is the full process including telling the computer to relearn the pressures. Some will reset just by setting the correct pressure if you're lucky and set them to what it already thinks they should be at, there's 3 settings. You’ll notice there are at least 3 first things to do! I made this video in several parts and stitched them together later on. If yours is the 2015 onwards dash I have a 2nd Mokka TPMS Video for that one.

Well thank you very very much buddy, I had been quoted from £60-£180 for the repair of this fault but deep in the back of my mind I knew they were not being honest it was just a guy feeling, I looked on mokka forums with no answers I had checked lots of KZread vids with no answer, you my friend with this easy to follow instructions it was sorted in 15 mins.

I did this and it worked until I got two new tyres, then it came back on, and it just wouldn't go off, vauxhall said they would diagnose it, but, at £144 ph I said I'd think about it as I'd been stung with them before, anyway, I found out from a mechanic who was having a smoke just outside the vauxhall garage wall he said this go to Kwik fit they can check all the pressure sensors on each wheel, and if one is duff they'll replace it, so I did, next day at Kwik fit they found the dodgy valve sensor replaced recoded all four and matched them with vehicle sensor module, job done £80 all fixed.

If I have done the learning in progress many times does this mean my sensor is broken

Quite possibly, might be time to plug in some diagnostic equipment

this never works for me, apart from when I take it to a garage the warning is on 24/7 even after doing the press/honk thing

0:50 Something is missing in my understanding of the process. Did you drive your car a certain distance, at a certain speed?

What pressure is set at learn originally as mine are at 32 all round and still won’t reset, what pressure do you have tyres at? Thanks

Set the tyres to whatever pressure is on your plate value with the corresponding pressure value enabled on the dash setting, that should reset the light.

If the pressures are set to the selected value then it should work. It’s possible that you have a faulty sensor or may be the pressure gauge is reading incorrectly. Initially You could try using a different gauge to check the pressures or a different setting on the car. If that doesn’t work you may need to get it checked on a diagnostic machine to see if there’s a sensor fault.

@@redram52 It shouldn't matter what is the tyre pressure, cause you are simply telling the car "this is the right pressure" whatever it is. And your lamp was off the second time you went into the menu :-)

@@boceskia with these it has the sensor in the valve so it knows the pressure of that individual tyre. The computer is set to recognise the correct pressure for the setting in the dash. If it’s wrong the light comes on. It’s not just resetting it with whatever it has in each tyre and looking for a change.

You have to fudge about. Took me about 5 attempts. You are selecting it bit not really selecting it cos you scroll away. Bloody stupid.
