Enjoyed this video. Thankyou. I knew about the lock button to close the windows but didn't know you could open the windows with the unlock button too! Be sure to let us know of any more handy things about this car (if you come across any). I'm new to the Mokka X and enjoying it so far.

Folding mirrors is another almost hidden feature I think, on the adjuster toggle on your drivers door, if you pull that back towards you the mirrors will power fold in for parking up 👍🏻

@@Jamie7ee I’m still finding all these features by mistake but with the folding mirrors is there any way they can be set up to fold when the engine is switched off then unfold when it is started?

I have an opel mokka X excellence and I tried to disconnect the ESP by holding the button for 5 seconds and it can't be done

How do you select neutral to get the mokka onto a tow truck. It's got a dead battery and can't select any gear. Won't charge. Basically does it have a towing mode?

I got Vauxhall Mokka x used the the person before me he deleted set nav and all other option he left only his music and his details how can I fix it Thanks

You can also adjust the window settings to have just the front windows open instead of all four

@@JJonCars I can on my mokka (2015) so it would be crazy if the mokka x wouldn't allow it... Can also adjust doors opening on 1 click or 2, how long the lights stay on after you lock ect.

Thank you. You know, I can't remember now if it has USB ports or not, sorry! I suspect that the Mokka X probably does, as you get them in the Astra.

Hello. When I plug my phone in by usb lead to the car, sometimes my phone apps don’t come up on the car screen. Instead it displays a black screen with the words on link. I try turning the car on and off and reconnecting lead but it doesn’t work. Any ideas please?

Hi Warren. I'm not sure exactly, it's been a long time since I was behind the wheel of a Mokka. In the screen settings you may need to set up Android Auto/Apple Carplay first?

No mention of the bicycle carrier built into the rear bumper?

Or, you could be talking about the auto-dim rear view mirror which usually has a little sensor inside the mirror itself

When you show the "path lighting" function, the led position lights move and play a "kitt supercar" type game, in mine they stay completely on and fixed. Is there a way to trigger this movement of lights? Thank you

I think that's just a trick of the camera, they don't look like that in real life sadly!

Thank you, and you're welcome! I'm not that clued up in this area, you would probably have to adapt it to your specific needs? Though I suppose with the Mokka being an SUV it might make getting in and out a little easier if that is of concern. Thanks for watching :)

There is a leaver on the drivers side bottom right, can’t miss it really if you look down

If you mean the little kit for the nuts mine was in the glove compartment in a little case.

Awful car in an awful segment. Car bought by people who don't care. Astra better looking, better handling, more fuel efficient and just as practical and it is lighter so it'll have better traction no matter what the body style suggests. You could say this sad excuse for automotive transport has better ground clearance but if you where in an environment that needed the extra height it would unless anyway.

Haha, well I'd agree I prefer the Astra. But the high driving position does suit some people, and the ground clearance can genuinely be a comfort when you see some of the nasty pot holes about.

I bought the Mokka X because I like the higher position for getting in and out, my son has an Astra and that really is difficult to get in and out, plus my car is a better drive than his and my car has more acceleration.

@@honestchris7472 I've 're-ththought my opinion on the Mk1 Mokka. I took a look at the new one and with some trepidation come to the realisation in a world of wannabe SUV's it is automotive art.

@@michaeljames1468 I havn`t looked at the new one yet but I do have one complaint about the car that I have got and that is that it is quite a hard ride and you do feel the bumps in out terrible roads but overall, I do like it, it is is that lovely bright blue as well. I hope that the new one is a bit of a softer ride.
