If you perceive Vauxhall's Insignia as a middle management mainstream company car, then the brand reckons it's time you had a re-think. The second generation version of this model launched in 2017 was a decent step forward and now, that design has been lightly updated, primarily with a thoroughly revised range of engines. Continuing attributes include a spacious cabin, plus there's an optional slick-shifting 8-speed auto gearbox and a clever 4WD system at the top of the range.
Think of a feature you can get in a pricey compact German premium brand - LED matrix lighting, Lane Keep Assist, Head-up Display, cutting-edge media connectivity. All of it's on offer here. It's a strong package.

Could the reason Insignia has features of a German car be because it is a German car? The Vauxhall Insignia is just a market-specific production line variation of an Opel Insignia and was designed engineered manufactured and produced in Germany.
a great review, its very sad this is GM vauxhall Last insignia because its a nice sleek car

ive just bought a 2019 insignia sri vx line grand auto petrol and WOW what a car . absolutely love it 🙂

@@1990lietuva The successor SUV will be apparently just a rebadged Jeep. So it's essentially goodbye for Opel at this rate.
If you're 200cm these cars are great im sad we dont get them in the states anymore.

Bought my Insignia in May 2014 it had 13,000 miles on the clock, It is Now February 2024 car has clocked nearly 255,00 miles, still going strong.
