Car and Driving - Car Reviews

Car and Driving - Car Reviews

Car and Driving started over 40 years ago writing vehicle reviews for newspapers. Then 10 years ago we started creating video reviews and we are proud to now have over 1.8K video reviews in our library.

We help automotive companies of all shapes and sizes by providing a library of videos, images and written articles/reviews for use on websites and social media platforms.

I drove BMW 5 series cars for nearly 40 years, and own a a 2011 M3 garage queen now. IMO, NOTHING can compare to my Model S. Renders “supercars” obsolete.

No offense but even though it’s a cool car , there are cooler cars out there for the money they are asking for. KIA isn’t a brand that I’ve ever wanted to be behind the wheel of . It looks nice but it’s a KIA sorry . If GEO made this car would you be lining up to buy one? Most wouldn’t .

I've been driving one of this daily for a few months and it's an incredibly fun car due to being so light. It grips very well to the road except when it rains, then it slides easily but never spins out, always very controlled. It also doesn't consume much fuel but it's not a car you'd want to drive alot on highways because at above 120kmh you will be looking at 4k+ revs and I suppose that's alot of strain on the engine

B gear selection is actually worse for economy - it keeps engine on while slowing down. I'm a 10 year Toyota hybrid driver. Only use B for going down long inclines to prevent brakes from overheating.

I bought a 2014 100k mile sd-4 xs with lost service history! Recipe for disaster? Changed belts, water pump, oil in diff/haldex/auto gearbox and only had a split turbo pipe in 35000 miles. I strongly recommend the 6 speed zf auto and sd4 engine (suprisingly quick) - wonderful gearbox - you can barely feel it change gear. I really love mine...

I had a 3 series for 13 years, and a X2 for 6 more, and also now buying the new x2. I don't understand the snobism of UK/US reviewers, always mentionning the UKL2 chassis common with the countryman. It is a genuine BMW, get over it! Not everyone wants to own a X6 or X4 regardless of budget... Other than that, it is a nice review, thanks!

Thanks for the comprehensive review. I think it's a really nice vehicle for the price range that it's offered in. It's a shame that over there across the pond you guys don't get the best of the full self driving and summon features, which really is something no other brand can match at the moment. One suggestion for the videos, it would be helpful if you could mention US pricing and maybe put the lb. ft. on screen in addtion to the nm when discussing torque as well. Makes it more relevant to those of us in the US. Cheers!
