    I have the same problem with no dtc codes and stft reads +25% goes down when I rev it but flats out on 25% What do think mate?

    At least the coil pack is ok on that one Sandy , every day we learn more , pity we don't get rewarded for our time learning, definitely learn more out of school than we did in school 40 years ago

    I just replaced the cylinder head, timing chain and guides on an a12xer it was smoking and idling very poorly after start up. Replaced a faulty tank purge valve which changed the 02 sensor voltage fault to a fuel trim fault. Turned out the pattern rocker cover gasket wasn't sealing, refitted the old one and she idles and runs great.

    Scannerdanner had a video with a faulty MAF, he said that it reads baro with the ignition on or on full throttle, then it can work out the MAF, this may be why it ran better when you cleared the fault code with the engine running, because it won't have seen the baro with ign on yet. Anyway just a thought. Cheers

    R&D with a known good is a great way to learn, love the way that you're talking through your thought process. You may not be right all the time but it gets you and your viewers thinking. Have a look at some of Bernie Thompson's videos on my liked playlist, the escan does the tests automatically but you can run your own using the ATG VE app. 1st gear full load runs will give you the answers you're looking for Sandy 👍

    Cheers Steve, I looked at the escan looks nice but expensive I have atg ve but forgot about it !!! I think viewers like the honesty that you don't claim to have all the answers but are willing to go extra mile to find out. Take care my friend, Sandy

    Maf sensor with ignition on should be 2022Hz 1V/02, ms on the scope and engine Idling 2435Hz 1v / 0,2 ms that mite help sandy

    I would have tried trading maf sensors from that car.
