I could be Matt but still a big shout at £270 ouch! What smoke machine have u and do u recommend the powerprobe wire detection kit ? Cheers sandy

It's a lot for the cam cover, the vauxhall parts department in Kirkcaldy told me about the two hoses at the back, and one of the hoses was split open down the length of it. I use an autool smoke machine, no problems with it. The power probe wire tracker has been used a lot, it can track wires through bad corrosion. Sometimes I have to be creative with it to know which wire I should be following because a few wires can be picking up the signal but the wire your following will pick up a stronger signal.

Finally solved this issue yesterday. 2017 Vauxhall Corsa Sri Vx Line. Rough idle running lean. Occasional ESC service warning light with traction control. Changed the purge valve and all is running perfect. This also had a cooling fault, fan on from the start, that has also been resolved.

My money is on that rocker cover sandy. Pitty it's not faulting at the moment but I think your right about water getting in that diaphragm during testing.

😭😭😭 feel for you guys!!! Certainly doesn’t look right, but I don’t know enough about the valve to comment if it not correct. Hope someone sees this and can help you.....

i have the same issue did you have petrol in the engine oil

Idle speed seems a bit on the low side , would it not increase in basic settings , I've done earlier corsa's and been able to increase about 50 rpm , can make a massive difference, I would let it develop, the valve in the rocker cover seems to be playing ok , hopefully you've cleared it's virus Sandy with the spray !!!😷😷😂😂

Hi Mike we used tool to increase idle by 100rpm to 780 helped fuel trims slightly to 19% long term but still to much cheers sandy

Have you tested the purge valve
