It will most likely drop even more when the springs have settled, usually takes a couple day too a week 😛 nice stance on the booty end... consider some spacers if they will clear the wheel arches
Nice 1 Gary get father butler to do the work as he always say up there for thinking down there for dancing and not a oh yeah or funny face insight 😂👌👍

Alright Gary I've had a nice word with your dad on his latest butlers empire video as to not embarrass you or make you feel inadequate whilst he's helping you do the cars. I hope he wasn't offended as I'm only trying to help. Take care brother. Keep up the good work!

@@ProjectMan oh, ok, I'm sorry I thought you looked embarrassed, uncomfortable or something. I must've of read it wrong. I apologise to you both if I did. My bad. My old man used to humiliate me. Gave me confidence issues. So I have a thing for parents belittling their kids. I'm sorry I read it wrong.

I don’t think it’s an embarrassment thing, they both call each other soppy bollocks so I feel it’s just a banter thing, they bounce off of one another and both take the opportunity to have a little pop at one another, love these guys content. These 2 would not be vindictive to one another. Stay safe pal

There's also another common mistake every MK4 owner wether it's a 5 door hatch, 3dr or coupe. Make in terms of the top mount. You already covered the nut and that many dont use the correct slim nut in the correct process. And end up with a 5-10mm gap on your turret top mount. There is also another common issue that the top mounts when replaced do not have s deep enough recess to sit the top plate. The correct top mount to use is the febi 08157. This item provides the correct depth recess to suit and gets rid of another version of the 5mm gap issue
That drop looks good. Ive just ordered some of the H&R 35mm lowering springs for my astra twintop. Are they 17-18 inch wheels?

Possible
Nothing worse than having to use a pair of widow makers when changing the springs.. at least you didn't have to use them when fitting the new ones.. Best investment i made, was buying a floor standing hydraulic spring compressor.. Nice safe and takes only a few minutes to change springs over... Great vid too..

And it all depends on what wheels your running eg sizes
The link for the axel stands takes you to a jack.
You're apprentice is a bit gobby @Gary...dock his wages!...good job on the springs!
I'm not a fan of lowering springs, too many speed ramps here in Ireland. The ramps absolutely f*** up car suspension. They are a plague.
