I have a 2013 2.0 cdti elite for the past 6 year…has never gave any problems,enough power and comfort for me,we were thinking about upgrading but if we wanted to get a car with the same spec now they are crazy money so we’ll be keeping the old girl awhile longer

I have owed a 2015 1.6 diesel for over 12 months the is more noise from the tyres then the engine and the fuel consumption is fantastic the is also plenty of room in side hopefully it will last me for a few more years

We need a return of this type of car review on our TV screens.

How's it going so far? Has it given you any problems. I was considering buying a 2013/14 one but everyone keep telling me not to buy it due to its history of unreliability.

I have a 2014 Astra 1.4 Turbo Automatic and average around 30mpg. (26mpg around town).

Right now i have a 2.0 cdti ecoflex 2012 astra however need a petrol since im gonna be driving in town majority of the time. What would be the best petrol engine astra to buy that would be insurance friendly?

How do I release the handbrake, while on the hill ? I can't do the biting point because to release the handbrake your foot has to be on the brake ... 😅 So I wonder is there any other way

Your foot doesn't need to be on the brake if you have the handbrake on, instead leave the handbrake on, and slowly accelerate and when you feel the biting point from the clutch release the handbrake, go to a hill and practice, you'll soon manage it, good luck 👍🏻

I've recently bought an Astra 2010 and had this same issue, managed to sort it out though! Find a hill, put the handbrake on, don't touch the footbrake, lift clutch up to biting point and tap the accelerator at the same time. The handbrake should release and there'll be a 2 second auto brake to stop you from rolling back
