I could just listen to his sound and playing all day… So fluid, so strong, so graceful…. Both the orchestra and he himself would’ve deserved a much bigger applause, I feel, people jumping out of their seats sort of thing…

I really don’t know there is another version is as good as this one. I am mesmerized by his stunning violin performance.

With this music, I picture what it must be like to ascend to Heaven. The sorrow felt by the ones you left is heartfelt and cuts Soooo deep. When you get there, Angels take you to reunite with loved ones who have gone before you. Your loved ones show you the Greatness and Beauty of it all, then finally they take you to meet Jesus face to face. The large doors open, and you are lead to his throne. You bow and fall on your knees at his feet. Jesus places his hands on you, lifts your chin, and says, "well done my good and faithful child." Then he embraces you with Love that only he can give, and rests your head on his knees. No sorrow, no pain, only Love, only Love, Forever and ever, Amen. ❤️🙏

Dieu sait combien j'aime Kerson Leong, que j'écoute sans cesse - un maître pour les sonates d'Ysaÿe, entre autres... Et qu'il est au-delà du très bon dans tout ce qu'il joue... Mais pour cet envol de l'alouette, Hilary Hahn est pour moi indépassable, ce qui n'enlève rien à cette puissante interprétation de KL.

He plays with intensity. I did not hear or see that as "affected" in any way, just being very moved by the music. I loved how he conducted simply in between the solo parts, and moved his body with the music. Bravo!
