My Eagle One Pro shipped with a defective battery and throttle. After waiting 2 months for replacement parts and paying for the shipping myself I still don’t have a working scooter. Varla’s customer support does not exist and shipping times from China are 6weeks+ for warranty or replacement parts. I couldn’t regret my purchase with them more than I do.

@@emilsecker7881 Yeah, I wish any of the creators taking money from the scooter companies would have stressed that point. I feel like I did weeks of research and just didn’t ask the right questions. Which scooter should I buy is fun, but where to buy a reliable scooter from a reliable manufacturer is so much more important.

Yea I had this problem with the YUME scooter company but they also just had lower quality parts. I’ve been using a SOLAR scooter (UK brand) but I will say it’s been the best scooter ever. I’ve put 450+ miles on it and I’ve had it for two months. Still not one issue with the scooter. I did have to replace the charger once but didn’t pay a dime as the company replaced it for me.

Dam I was about to buy it not to sure now seems to be ok but I dunno about these issues I mean we paying good money and the fact that the company is not fixing them up and listening to the owners as they are the true reviewers. VARLA FIX THE SCOOTER OR THE GAME GONNA DROP YOU LOL.....
this was so relaxing watching you ride this.
Thank You RK9 great job.
Loved this review & update on the Varla. Would you please consider making a video addressing safety? Which safety hazards do you look for when riding? How do you ride safely in traffic on narrow roads, or roads without bike lanes? What about sidewalks with obstacles like low hanging trees, etc? Would love to see examples of what you look for while riding to stay safe. The "My Worst Crash Ever" video showed one hazard. I've learned that scooters are much less safe than something like an electric bike. I took a spill recently when there was a hard to see lip between some bricks and a sidewalk. The lip locked up the front wheel and off I went. Thankfully I was only going about 10 mph, but it still hurt! It seems to me we need to be extra safety conscious on eScooters.
than you, very enjoyable vid :)
Nice to see your videos again, to avoid front wheel chattering (slight vibrations) did you try to redistribute your weight a bit more forward than usual. Are the tires puncture free tires (self sealing, will allow you to take a thorn or small nail and keep riding)? Tubeless pneumatic are the best in my opinion, they can take higher pressures without folding/flattening on you. If the tires are strong enough, you can ride up to 3 miles on a flat. Was their any issues with the rotors warping? I had to replace mine after 500+ miles on a different scooter.
At very first I was like, only 100 miles?? RK9: "...I haven't put on as many miles as you might think..." Great vid as always.
Seems like a smooth solid scooter, quick question, always impressed with your video quality, what camera do you use and is on a chest mount?

Unless he's updated his gear, the camera is still the GoPro Black 8
could u please do a review on the kaabo skywalker 10s+ its a $1300 dual 1000w 60v 37 mph scooter and for its price looks unbeatable, thanks for the great content as always
RK9, can you please do a review on the apollo phantom?/
So my understanding is that they are no longer making the silver and blue model. It's only black/red now. I think the blue model had some issues. A friend of mine has the pro and I saw him riding it recently- it's ridiculous fast
I’ve had the Varla eagle one for 3 months now. Sadly when I ordered my eagle one, about 2 days after it was shipped they announced the Varla eagle one pro.

Same situation, a couple months after I bought the Eagle One. It has held up pretty well over 4k miles, though. What about for you?
I thought this was THE scooter to go for if you want trail riding ability because of the good suspension, now it sounds like it's too bouncy and there are better options out there? If so, which?
I’ve ridden mine about 1,000 miles and the only problem is I had to balance my tires with wheel weights!
Almost lost it a few times be careful buddy
I'm in SLC and my eagle one has been having issues. Have any reccomendations for repair shops?

Learn how to repair it yourself. Take it apart to see if anything looks broken. What's the issue? I'm 4k miles into mine (not the Pro, not sure what you have) and know a little.

@@californiaplant-basedeater2761 I work full time and do full time school. So I have more money than time at the moment. I found someone to help me out. The batteries had bad coils. It was causing the scooter to shut off during rides. No way I could have figured it out on my own. I would have spent the $525 on new batteries from Varla's website. This guy had new coils at his shop and was able to swap them out for much cheaper.

@@rjwalker4622 Touche. I was going to say if it's something complicated like that or electricity related then getting help does make sense. Most other stuff is a good learning experience. Have a nice day.
Varla makes decent scooters but honestly there's a lot of missing features and, as others have mentioned, their customer service sucks. I believe no Varla scooter has incorporated turn signals and a horn which are absolutely essential when riding at high speeds. This can be forgiven if you are willing to just buy the extra accessories to create a complete scooter, but what cannot be accepted is the customer service approach that Varla has. When I needed a new stem latch, Varla made me pay for the piece itself and for shipping, despite still having warranty. I was able to get a refund but this did not change the amount of time I had to wait to receive my shipment. Varla uses a super slow shipping company and sent my package around the country despite the package being only miles away from my house. I told Varla that I'd be willing to just pick it up in person but this was not possible and I had to wait almost two months to receive my package. Putting all my experiences together, I will most likely not buy from Varla again. For the same amount of money or slightly more I could get a better scooter and receive much better customer service.

Horn and (little) turn signals are worthless. Just slow down and be ready to swerve for the first, and other people either see you or they don't for the second.
Anyone else have to constantly bleed the brakes?

I would never buy from Varla because they keep no parts in the United States. It was my reason with going for a kaabo product. I have two shops I can order parts from and they are located in the states.
