    I live in a golf cart community (even though there's no golf). Something like this is a good option for someone that doesn't want to spend 8-15K for a decked out cart but wants to use the smooth wide pathways to get around the suburban sprawl.

    I’ve had one for a few months. Anything over 20mph gets uncomfortable without full head/elbow/knee/glove gear. Perhaps a steering damper would make it better. I do have the rigid clamp it makes the stem feel better. It’s also too heavy to routinely put in the trunk of a car that I cared about. The scooter is a whole lot of fun, and seems more catered to a scooter enthusiast, rather than someone that wants a portable commuter scooter.

    One of the important things to mention i've found that the disc brakes are rarely used when you properly setup the regen setting. it almost always uses regen and then once you're almost stopped you can engage the disc brakes. I have had five flats in two months with this scooter and 700 miles on the odo. The good news is that i can fix a flat in about ten/fifteen minutes now instead of half hour or more.

    I just received my new Eagle One and was upset to find there is a detent in the steering that causes the front wheel to pop into a straight ahead attitude. This is very annoying when trying to navigate at slow speeds because it keeps popping into this detent. Is this a standard feature why have I not seen one person mention it in any of the dozens of videos on this scooter? Also, is there anyway to disable it?

    I have a question for you or anyone else. I am disabled and have two small young dogs that love walking but I can't take them and someone else does once in a while. Walking for me is somewhat a challenge when it comes to fatigue and some minor balance issues but not a lot. It's mainly fatigue and sensation that comes along with it. I was thinking of getting one of these and taking my dogs walking using this ...what do you think I should use? This scooter or something else perhaps. Any opinion for anyone would be greatly appreciated. thanks so much

  • @ClintGibbs

    @ClintGibbs

    2 жыл бұрын

    A scooter is definitely an easy way to get around. But if you have balance issues, that may be of a concern. It doesn’t sound like you need to go very fast if you are just walking your dogs. This scooter is probably more than what you need. You don’t want to pay for speed when you don’t really need it. Although this is a very fun and well-built scooter, there are lesser expensive ones that don’t go as fast.

    Just got one with dual 1200watt...its nuts. Dual mode is still too much for me.I prefer single for most riding. I find Im comfortable going to about 50kph max, beyond that I fear the wobble despite not yet having any. Pricey? I suppose, but these make very good alternative transportation for commuting from the burbs and they arent much more than a good bike.The negative to a bike commute is sweating and the extra hassle entailed. I get the impression most cities dont like them, probably because of other traditional transportation usersse are exactly what all the green energy people have asked, clean and efficient and do not take up a lot of room.

It goes right to VM and they do not return calls. They also do not respond to emails either. They claim us support yet the voice mail lady has British accent. Their reviews online are screened as you will see there are only 5 star reviews. They do not publish any reviews less than 5 star. Im just trying to help future potential customers out.
