it is mandatory to have license plate?
@GingerOnWheels
Жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for the question. I really should have been more clear. There's absolutely no need to have a license plate in the USA. No registration, inspection, tabs, or insurance required here where I live. It was just a 3d printed novelty plate that a friend made for me.

This is a definite "love" for me as a pre buyer. The PEV Firelight review and data =100%. The tire and treads' info was demonstrated.
Good video! I love my eagle one pro. Just got an Mboards endurance too.
I have the ninebot g30 and have been waiting for a good priced and good function scooter. I was orginale going to get the varla eagle one but I desided the v2 will be a better scooter for city and trail riding ,I can't wait for mine to get here
Coming back to tell you I put a number of miles on my Varla E1v2 at 30-40 with my body weight weight in the rear and it helped me so much! Thank you for the tip. Even choppy Michigan roads I felt incredibly stable. You’re the best man thank you!

Spread the word! Everyone loves dampers, but they really aren't needed unless you're on the track.
Now you gonna make me want to keep my eagle one. I love the long deck, rear foot placement and the key ignition. Now that you said battery % don’t match and the handle idk if I want it now🥴. My main gripe for eagle one is the tube punctures and battery
I hade a yume D5+ and the hybrid tires were 3 1/2 inches wide it depends on the rim
Awesome review, thanks 👍 Mr. Wheels.
I recently got this to keep up with traffic in the city and it’s huge for me 😅 (I’m 5’2” at 120lbs). Thanks for mentioning it’s a stiff scooter, I thought it was just me since none of the videos I’ve seen have brought that up. I took it out for a quick test ride in the morning and the turns were weird for me. I need to get use it.

I was going to get the Max g2 for the same price but your video turned me away. And now that varla put 9" vacuum tires on the Pegasus I pulled the trigger. Maybe you can do a review on the new one soon. Anyways thanks for the coupon and I love your videos. Can't wait to get my scoot on Wednesday and ditch this ninebot f25
Besides the dead zone and 30% jump in battery life I live in a smaller city, am 6’1 and am getting two chargers with mine since varla sold out fast they ran out and as compensation I got the extra charger for free, seems to be the perfect fit for me since my city consists of walking/biking trails as well, great review can’t wait till mine gets here I got blue! 💙

Hi , I have a question and I really hope you can help me a little here , which one you think is better ? Varla eagle one 2.0 or KUKIRIN G3 Pro ? Thank you
Do you waterproof the scooters? If so will you or do you have a video on it?
Great video! I’m strongly considering this one for deliveries/commuting in Seattle.. with tons of steep hills to climb… so far it’s my top contender. Any recommendations otherwise? Keep in mind I am short 5’6… will those handlebars be annoyingly tall?
@TheBrandonn
9 ай бұрын
emove cruiser S is kinda similar in specs. the dual motor of the EO2 is probably better for the hills though
I feel the same thing about the Sinewave controllers. I bought the Vlaken G3pro which is supposed to have Sinewave but no matter where I set the acceleration settings, when I'm in dual motor it's like a light switch. If you don't have some experience it's dangerous! Either accelerating hard or coasting.

@GingerOnWheels

There is sadly zero adjustment for the bar height, But this is one of the few scooters that has a standard mountain bike size handlebar mount. You can buy a flat set of handlebars for a mountain bike and stick them on there, that'll take off about 3 or 4 inches.

I knew I wasn’t hearing things.
Couple of things: you don't need to take the locking nut all the way off when folding the handlebars. And you can adjust the suspension. To me the battery level jumping around all over the place is fairly annoying. It really makes me nervous that I don't know how much ride time I have left. It's not a small amount either. I was seeing that I was down to 30% and then all the way back to 60%
This vs makuta line?
Do the wheels lock when the scooter is off? In other words do you need the NFC to actually move this scoooter or can someone still just roll it away of they wanted to steal it? I'm sure there are people who know how to hack the system to unlock it.
@GingerOnWheels
Жыл бұрын
The NFC key just prevents the scooter from turning on. Someone could still throw it in the back of a truck or walk off with it. It's basically just to prevent someone from hopping on, turning it on, and zipping away
I purchased my Varla Eagle One v2 shortly after this video came out. My steering is not nearly stable enough. I have hit about 40mph on gps. I wont be doing that again unless they make a steering damper. This scooter is not stable at anything over 30. The rear foot plate you mentioned doesn't make any sense. Sacrificing functionality to make it more boxy? Just ridiculous. The name of the scooter is pretty daft too. The v1 and v2 are nothing alike. It makes finding information, parts, etc on the v2 VERY difficult. The acceleration curve is slower than my kid's Razor scooter. And lastly the throttle feels like the cheapest possible option they could find. It's hard to moderate, deadzones, and has been the only part to have broken on my scooter after driving it just shy of 1k miles. Now that I got my gripes out of the way, I LOVE THIS SCOOTER. This thing is a blast for riding around town. I take it on dirt trails, sidewalks, roads, anything. It just powers through it all. The tires and suspension are fantastic. The breaks are easy to work on. the latch is easy to operate and very secure. The display is bright and easy to read during the day. The front light is better than any other I have used. I keep my spare light on a different scooter and ride with just the integrated light at night. The handlebars are nice and wide. Power plugs are positioned in a safe place not to get water in them. Cable management is nice. RFID is INSTANTANIOUS. Easy to navigate the P settings. The kick stand is a beefy boi that feels satisfying putting down. The fenders do an amazing job at keeping me dry through puddles and mud. I feel like the scooter is soooo close to perfect. If they just had better steering dampening, kick plate, throttle, and added blinkers, this would be a 2-2.5k scooter at a $1500 price point. It would be the hottest scooter on the market. But those goofy choices has left this one of the more obscure scooters out there.
@GingerOnWheels
3 ай бұрын
The requirement for steering damping is a rider issue, I don't have dampers even on my fastest scooters. Crouch down and lean back with most of your weight over the rear tire. Blinkers would be nice though

They told me the suspension is adjustable. Also the website says 38.58" from deck to handle bar. Are theey just measure to the top of the stem and NOT the handle bars themselves? Are you sure these are as tall as you say? It really sucks that there is no place physically where I can see this scooter to figure this out myself and have to rely on just reviews and take a leap of faith to order something and risk having to lose money returning it.
@GingerOnWheels
Жыл бұрын
The suspension is adjustable in that you can use a spanner wrench to adjust the preload. But it's such a negligible amount that it doesn't drastically change the ride feel. I'm 100% sure their website is wrong on the deck bar height though. It's probably measuring to the top of the stem, which is not where you grab onto.
Nice
