Variegated String Of Hearts Propagations | Now Ready For Fast Growth!!!
Finally, here's the long awaited update :-) As of today, these VSOH have been propagating for 5 months & they've been out of their prop bag for around 2 months. They've only recently become acclimated to life without high humidity, so they still haven't grown that long. I think they're going to grow faster now that they are used to their new environment.

Brb pinning all my updates now 😭
was worried when i saw the tear emoji, glad they r doing so well !
Please consider making a series with ocasional updates. I saw the previous video and loved this one too. I would love to follow their journey and any challenges or changes along the way. I’m glad you showed where you keep them, as I was wondering about that, always an important detail. I don’t know why people keep this beautiful plant long but bold at the top. I like it full first, and then long. Thanks for sharing. Great videos.
So good to see they are doing well!
Yay for update! i love vsoh so much. they're one of my favourite plants

Omg the Haworthias are getting huge!! I’m gonna have to repot them soon
Looking good!!! 😀💚
Yayyy thanks for sharing esp after moving it out of the bag, I was super curious! I’m also curious how lighting will effect the size of the leaves too -let us know if u play around with that as well~
Looks great!
Wow that was a long time but looking great.
I’ve been trying this method with my string of dolphins propagations and im so excited to see them grow like this!
Omgosh it's so cute I'm hoping to come across vsoh one day
Aww man Im early. Im so excited to see it trail! I also prefer it to be more full than long.
I’m so curious to see what these plants look like now! 😊
I propagated mine and had in a bag. After watching all kinds of videos I took it out of bag. I kept hearing them say that it will rot in bag😔I hope it will grow as beautiful as yours and not die. 🤞🏽
Just bought my first cuttings tonight and this series of videos is very helpful. The only question I have is how much sunlight or where did you place during its time in the bag? Thank you. 🌱
Would love to see an update on your VSOH
Hiii! I just found your channel and subbed instantly. Would you do a new update? I’m propagating mine since it was one giant string, and I’m hoping to get a new full baby. 🥰
Erika, these have turned out great, I’m looking for a regular one but so far the ones I have seen were way to expensive. I just read up on them I probably don’t have enough light. 😕
Yay!!☺❤✨🌱
I notice that mine in South facing window is pinker like yours. Grows faster but the leaves are small. I moved it to a west facing and not as pink but the leaves are bigger
Hello Erika, I was wondering where you purchased the riser you have under your lady slipper to the left of the vsoh? Thanks so much
Erika! I’m jealous! I just bought one a week ago in a 2’ 🤞🏼 mine turns out full like yours. Where did you get you little white pot with the face?!
That’s so exciting!! I’ve tried this myself and have issues with a bit of mold and fungus gnats-did you have this problem too?

I did not for this plant, but I’ve had mold problems before. I try to take out the mold & then sprinkle w cinnamon, that usually works. Maybe the fungus gnats will die if the bag is fully sealed so they can’t escape? Not sure if it will actually work tho haha

@@ErikaLodes Repotting the props into neem-flushed bonsai soil did the trick-I guess since bonsai soil is used to staying moist! :>
💚
Mine a has grown extremely fast now that I have it in direct sun.
How many inches is that pot? I love tge substantive look of this!
Hi, pls share the soil mix that you use in the vsoh. Thank you!
❤
They're looking great and I love the pink.

I was gifted a VSOH . It’s just a baby , I belive it was rooted cuttings in a maybe 4” pot. 2 or 3 of the leaves are wrinkly !😬 Is that an overwatering sign as well ?
We need a 1 year update
Do the hearts get bigger or do they stay small
How is it looking now , ?
what are you doing with the moho?, is dangerous to the plant? thank u!
Do you have another update?!
Please tell the soil mix. I see perlite and Im guessing cactus soil?
👏🤓
So you took out them out of the bag after 10 weeks or 15 weeks ? I propagated my cuttings couple of days ago. I am just wondering how long I need to wait before I could take mine out .

It depends MORE on how quickly they root and produce tiny leaves without rotting rather than counting the number of weeks. Weeks is for the video to show you this didn't happen overnight or in 2 weeks. She may have even left them in the bag longer if they weren't TOUCHING the BAG and ROTTING. THAT is what determined for her when she takes out of the bag. It depends on how fast they grow. If you don't have proper conditions and they don't grow well it won't matter in 10 weeks or 15 weeks if in bag. Understand? It is not a matter of saying oh I must wait 10 weeks. I must wait 15 weeks. No. Depends on conditions and YOUR babies.

@@resarm5007 got it.. thank you.. some of the leaves and stems rotted but a lot of them have already produced a lot of tiny leaves. I might wait for them to develop rhizomes before I want to take them out.
Be sure to update us in another 5 months :-)
Hiiii how is she doing now I’m so curious
Están hermosas yo tenía una plantita se murió no supe cuidarla😢🇲🇽
Thanks for the update your VSOH is adorable🤍💚🪴
