My Hindu Rope is over 50 years old. I fear I overwatered it and it looks like areas are dead. Is there any chance of it surviving if I take it out of the pot and repot after trying to clean the roots?

Hi. Thanks for your video. So you have just confirmed what I was suspecting as for dischidia watermelon's blooms. I have mine for several months now, it's growing very nicely, it has a bit of sunstress on some leaves. It also has some of those bloom clusters, that look like tiny tulips coming from one tiny stem. But.. it's been quite a long time and I really start to think, that they will never open up. I hardly see any movement there, it's even difficult to see if there is any colour to it. They look greenish/brownish, similar to the leaves. So I'm wondering if I'd be lucky enough to see them open. I have it under a grow light together with my hoyas. I try to keep the humidity a bit increased, since I live in Canada, where aside of some weeks in the summer when humidity is very high, but then the airconditioning is removing it drastically), the every day indoor air is dry. Thanks, I find your video very helpful. Take care.😊

The crispy tip is from not watering it. The Anthurium needs to be moist all the time. I love this plant too, mine has slowed up from lack of light. 😢

She cooks...!!! This is the same common point that I have locked into.... Reminds me of chemistry class where results were "titrated"... specific changes... measured after each and every one so the "results" are specific to any changes made.. that way it makes the path of 'bread crumbs" more obvious and far easier to find the X on the treasure map!!

Are you a classical guitarist too? It sort of looks like you have short nails on the left and long on the right.. just like a classical guitarist.. if not you should give it a shot.. Fern looks great.. mine is yellow and I think it needs a bigger pot and some fresh dirt.. btw, aquarium water is great for sensitive indoor plants.. skip the distilled.. that actually sucks out the nutrients..

Propagate ludisia in a plastic container with damp moss, close the lid and check on it once a month. I propagated in water at the same time as I did some in the container, I got way better starts from container than water.
