Yup. Fizzarolli is mostly robotic now because of the explosion. You can literally see his horns and arms melting in the flashback. The white on imps is scars. If you notice, his face is completely white. That's not clown makeup. Human fire can't hurt demons. Fire in Hell can.

Yes the rest of his body that was saved is covered in scars, you can see that in the first couple of mins at the top of his robotic legs his thighs are white.

Did y’all notice that Blitzo was legit gonna give Fizz a love letter, confessing that he had/has a crush on Fizz; which I think he still does have some feelings for Fizz considering that he asked -would making out be weird rn Which makes the whole accident waaaay~ more traumatizing

Hellfire actually hurts demons. Earth fire is the one that doesn't do anything.

Regarding the arms of fizz. The backstory that was shown showed that blitz's accident did so much damage that he lost his arms and his horns damaged. Thats why he has robotic arms and always wearing something where his horns used to be. The horns part is just a theory since we don't know what exactly was done to it since that happened 15 years ago( basing it on backstory) so we don't know what the state of fizz's horns are between then and now.

@@Broken_Everlark7 Personally, I think it had to be Blitz's own father (and/or hospital staff, but someone had to tell them to say that). The card he gave Fizz literally said "Wish you were my son", and he, in basest terms, sold Blitz's body for $5 and a condom when he was a child. We need more information, but it's pretty clear that Blit's dad never loved him, and Blitz wounding Fizz and losing his mother was probably enough to drive him into disappearing from the circus entirely.

Honestly, I feel like it would be Mammon, Cash, or even Barbie, but I'm leaning towards Barbie. She obviously hates Blitzo for what happened to their mom, so it wouldn't shock me if she was staying by Fizz's side in the hospital and wanted to keep him safe, especially after Fizz's POV had Blitzo betraying him on purpose

I just realized it's always raining/storming in the Lust ring (it was raining the night Moxxie and Millie went to the club), this plays into Dante's Inferno where the souls of the lustful are constantly thrown around in swirling winds. Props to Vivzie for such an awesome detail!

With the fire thing, regular fire that you's see on Earth is just as harmless to Imps as air is to humans, but Hellfire can be just as deadly to Imps as Earth fire is to humans And with Fizz, he lost his horns and all four of his limbs in the explosion, but somewhere down the line (likely by Ozzie), he was given robotic limbs that stretch.

Ya know what's sad about this revelation? Losing their mother might explain not only Barbie's hatred towards Blitzø, but also what got her hooked on whatever drug, then her being sent to rehab!😢

Earth fire can't damage demons, as seen in episode 1. Hell fire (which is color-dependant based on the rings), can hurt demons.

DUDE new Helluva Boss episode dropped. Episode 7 of season 2 is the best episode so far, hands down

I always love watching it on my own and then watching Vapor react to it (I’m REALLY happy that they explained what happened with blitzo and fizz and how fizz got his robotic arms and legs)

Is it me or does this episode like so vibrant and colorful?

A slight side track but still in the realm of iconic animation; could you consider creating a reaction tribute to the late and amazing Kevin Conroy and his voice? He passed away last year, and was the sole reason I got into acting. I have a voice acting background and there are some preconceived notions that it's not as demanding as regular acting; but the vocal training itself and perfecting the craft may take more time than any acting school. l feel like he's a bit underrated as Batman (ditto Mark Hamill as Joker) and even non existent in the conversation. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in those new Resident Evil games :)

Did you not see what happened his arms got burned as shit in the fire he had to get a new robotic arms and legs 23:42 oh, by the way, this scene made me tear up

About what happened to Blitz's mother; Barbie got a drug addiction and Fizz lost his limbs because of Blitz. Now my theories have finally been confirmed. Hell Yeaaaaah May the force be with you and may you lead the force. ✋

An explanation on the fire thing: In episode 1 of season 1, Blitz said "Your fire doesn't hurt us." Or something like that, implying that Hell fire DOES. In this episode, you SEE Fizz and Blitz getting injured by green Hell fire in the flashback. Stryker screams when the fire is on him, as he's fleeing. I'm sure he has scars from the fire now, as well.

I would be completely happy with a drama-free episode about fizz and a Ozzie on a normal day, shots of Stolas and blitz, and mox and Millie.

I just realized if Fizz learned how the fight, he would be the most physically threatening commoner demon in hell. He's super agile and flexible, and did y'all see how flawlessly he flung around Blitz in the fight?

hell fire is different from regulars fire, in myths hellhounds were said to have a hellfire's bite that never stopped burning once bitten, and that even when dead you'd still feel it. its where the pokedex entry for houndoom comes from. but in this universe hellfire is its own thing rather then being imbued into all the creatures of hell.

I’m really starting to wonder if Fizzarolli’s cybernetic arms and legs are a deliberate reference to Doom. I mean really think about it... a demon with cybernetic implants. What does that remind you of? What is the first video game that really comes to mind in such a scenario? By that point, sooner or later, one can’t help but inevitably think of the Doom first person shooter franchise whenever you see something like that in pop-culture nowadays because it’s pretty much the definitive video game series that really iconically popularized the concept in fiction of depicting demons with cybernetic enhancements.

Basically, the fire of hell id way more powerful than on earth and thats why it can hurt imps, and the Explosion caused Fizz to loose his horns and caused his legs and arms to be on fire melting the skin off, thats why he had to get robotic replacements, i hope that helps

23:07 I believe fire in hell and on earth are different. Earth fire isn't hot enough to harm demons but in hell, the fire is hotter and can therefor do actual damage to demons, hence why Striker was in a panic when his clothes were burning
