i think he doesn't see that stolas wants him because he doens't believe that royal would ever fall for a low class imp suchs as himself. But he does want to have a relationship, thats why he tries to hang out with moxie and millie as much as possible. in this way he thinks he can have this experience through them. it's really sad to see that stolas is trying to offer him this but it's just not computing at the moment.

I love how Fizz made up such an amazing song on the spot about actual BS. Leave it to Alex Brightman. It's so great to see Blitzø and Fizz patch things up. And I have to say, Fizz and Ozzie are just adorable together. Almost as much as Moxie and Millie. This was definitely the best episode so far.

I think Blitzø hates himself so much that he can't see anyone truly loving him, which 'causes him to push them away leaving him alone in the end and proving his assumption about himself in his mind.

Self-fulfilling Prophecy 100%

Something the fandom has speculated about and that this episode pretty much confirms: The White patches on demons are Scars (or freckles) and Fizzerollis Face _isn't painted_ his face is one, single, giant scar. So is Blitz right face side, which is where the explosion hit him.

The subtly in the flashbacks is amazing. The damage to Fizzi's body; both his legs, both arms and horns ("My horns were always the biggest, WEREN'T they?") are gone. His white skin is all scar tissue save for what was behind the clown nose due to the point blank fireworks. Also Blitzo's dad giving Fizzi a card "Wish you were my son" to him. Blitzo wanting to confess but got cold feet, also how he got the white marks on his head.

I have a feelingthe crystal is gonna fuck shit up. That it will be a tipping point in there relationship. Stolas will give it to him with the best intentions and blitz with his self hate will probably misread it as stolas finally having enough of his toy and finding way so end the deal and throw him away. But i think blitz blowing up and voicing his feelings and stolas being able to voice his side more directly is what might be needed in their relationship.we'll see.

Fizz was grossed out by blood as a kid . . . and ends up melting and kaying in a pool of his own blood

I don't think you get _how deep_ Blitz slef hatred is. He cannot imagine anyone, much less a _demon prince_ actually loving him. He is only able to see the world in lower and higher beings, with him and other Imps being at the bottom of the barrel and someone like Stolas just... not even being _capable_ of loving someone like _him_. You see it most clearly in the "Truth Seeker" Dreamsequence, where Blitz has put Stolas on an actual Pedastal and sees himself as nothing more then his goldchained Dog

Something I only JUST realized with that final scene with Ozzie carrying Fizz to their room: Earlier, he tells Stolas that Lust shouldn't be forced or rushed, but a journey to be savored and enjoyed - and Ozzie follows through on that with Fizz by verifying that Fizz actually does want to "make a mess". He's making sure that it's an enthusiastic Yes so he, as the embodiment of Lust, can fully enjoy it

I freaking loved that Fizz and Blitz patched things up and how we got to see how Blitz got his scar amd everything. Also the “Look at this” song went HARD

Blitz has serious self-hatred. (Check back to the Ozzie episode, he scratched out himself on the photos on the wall) I think Blitz had a crush on Fizz, when they were kids, maybe the letter in his hand was a love letter.

Self-hatred is a tough thing to deal with, which is why I understand his character so much (I have the same problem for similar reasons as him, our past actions are hard for us to forgive) Sorry if this makes you uncomfortable, I just like sharing the inner workings of my mind with others

@@scalesthebattlemage4634 same here man, I think a lot of us are drawn to Blitzø because he IS so relatable to people like us that, when heavily traumatized especially, make painful choices that hurt others & ourselves... we are left in the mess of it all. But I love that he still wants to try to be better, try to connect with others and try to pull up his friends/loved ones even if he has NO clue how to healthily do so. I enjoy that his "found family" want him to be happy, and even though they need him to be better & have better boundaries they still are here with him. I hope we see his dynamic with the group continue to soften and improve, especially now that hes been able to connect with Fizz & start to heal that HUGE initial wound. I am enjoying his journey, and getting to see someone I can relate with so much. Best wishes to you dude, I hope you've been able to wade through some of the mess and connect with others!

I still like "House of Asmodeous" more but "Look at me" is a solid second. It's so entertaining, memorable and creative. Straight to the playlist.

The horns comment was the FIRST thing I thought of after seeing the flashback cause it can be seen as a dig at the fucking fire. Since you can see that his horns were literally blown off, it was either a 'My horns were always bigger than yours (before the fire YOU caused)' or 'My horns were always bigger than yours (Cause I had to wear prosthetics due to the fire YOU caused)'

Stolas and Blitzø's relationship has always been transactional, for one reason or another. Now, with Stolas giving Blitzø his own means to enter the mortal realm, that will hopefully change for the better.

Of course you could use those vibes as swords ⚔️

8:03 I know we get the answers later but just wanna take a moment to call out how Loo Loo Land foreshadows what happens in Fizz's backstory with Blitzø setting it on fire and gtfo of there

This also makes a lot of sense as to why Barbie also hates Blitzo

I don't think this is a spoiler cuz it seems pretty obvious... notice how Fizz's jester hat bends? Most probably because the rest of his horn got burnt by the fire as we see in the flashback. I love that attention to detail. Which reminds me of episode 3 I think when we went to LooLoo Land, where Fizz's robot clone got its face and body burnt by the fire Blitzo accidentally caused when they were fighting.

you can also see this in the beginning of the episode. when fizz is in bed with ozzie, the blankets outlines stumps on his head rather than full horns also, looloo land was episode 2, not 3

The best episode of season 2.Finally some major callbacks to the earlier episodes.Also the charcter work in this ep was just great

I agree this is definitely the best season 2 episode. I felt this one was much more focused and character centric. Definitely one of Viv’s best episodes in terms of writing

Fun fact: The guy who appeared on the Bitcoin ad that appears during Fizz’s song was Adam Neylan, who writes for Helluva Boss and Brandon Rogers.

Finally, someone is talking about how worried Ozzie was (it's so cute he changed so quickly when she left them)

I really like the idea blitz was going to confess to fizz with the letter he had considering the heart and message 'for fizzs eyes only' but his conflicting feelings caused him to back down which caused the whole accident

If any of you would like to make that flashback even more dark, look what Fizz get from blitz's father and what blitzo had in his hand when he pushed imp with cake. At least Milies mother didnt die...

Ozzie and Fizz have been my ultimate OTP since we first met them at Ozzie’s and I’m so glad they’re finally getting the appreciation they deserve.

This episode managed to incorporate a lot of characters and touch upon several plot points without feeling convoluted Well done Viv!!

Yes your absolutely right about Alex Brightman. He is spectacular as Fizz. James Iglehart is also a powerhouse. They make a perfect duo!

I’m actually in a similar situation to fizz and blitz. What happened is someone told blitz that fizz said “fück off” and told fizz that blitz didn’t bother to come over even once. They were played against each other.

Fizz is my favorite secondary character so I was SO excited about this. I love Fizz and Ozzie’s relationship, they’re so adorable❤and I’m glad Blitz could finally make peace with Fizz. Now, I understand why his sister hate him so much…😢 Yeah even if Look at this isn’t my favorite song, I admit this is the most hilarious 😂Alex just killin it

Fizz and Ozzie are so cute together, they are my inspiration on relationship goals.

I've already loved Fizz for a while, but this episode has finally made him breach S tier, and my top 3 along side Blitzø and Stolas. I think this might be my favorite episode in the series, maybe not the best but it has so much good to it that I can look past it's flaws, its certainly my favorite of Season 2 anyway.

this episode is probably my new favorite episode.

Blitz seems like he just can't break himself out of that place mentally where people who get close to him are just trying to hurt him. It's his whole outlook on life, and out of fear he tends to cultivate relationships that reinforce that view. So when someone like Stolas comes along who simply can't bring himself to treat Blitz that way, he just doesn't have the tools to cope with it.

Now that we got Blitz ad Fizzy/s backstory, now I am curious about Striker and his intense hate of royal demons

I mean like did striker have a kid who was killed by demon royals or something? There has to be some big lore to this or it would be disappointing.

Look At This, while as a song itself won't come close to cracking my top 3, in the context of this episode was an absolute 10/10! Seeing Crimson and then Striker back to back gave me such wtf whiplash, I was completely not expecting either of them back so soon!

This episode was so heartwarming blitz looked so bad Ace when he Saved Fizz from the fire

I want to see Ozzie go batshit crazy on them that would probably be astronomical 😂

Striker is very incompetent huh, lol. Now that it seems like Blitzo will have his own portal to earth, I wonder how the agents on earth are gonna deal with them once they come back killing on the job again.

This episode was an absolute banger.

The reason blitz thinks Stolas doesn’t like him is because he has so much self hatred he think of anything to like about him. So he assumes the worst.

Crimson can actually speak Italian, and Fizz is just saying Random Italian words so he looks really confused XD it's such a great touch XD I love that Ozzy's relationship with Fizz is really just an extension of his domain of lust. Lust can turn to romance and love, and the two of them are both so Kinky that they are perfect for each other. Who gave Viv permission to put so many Satan Damned wholesome couples in this show.

Also sad because if we look at the flashback... Cash Buckzo, AKA Blitzo's scumbag father.. Was one of the FIRST imps to run out of the tent. His escape started a faster panic, causing another imp behind him to bump into fizz knocking him down away from the safer exit. *In Fizz' part* While in Blitzo's part we see his silhouette exiting near the beginning of the fire. Agreed with other viewers, he DEFINITELY was the one to lie to both of them. To blitzo because he WANTED a reason to get rid of his son, while to Fizz because he wanted him to forget about him. Already expect him to come back at some point to try to get Fizz back, since I imagine he decided to SELL Fizz after he was considered "damaged goods" in his mind. "He can't make me money, so I'm going to sell him for as much as I can" But comes back after he finally spends it all.

"What was that note?" Which one? The card Fizz got? "Wish you were my son" The one Blitzø was going to give Fizz? "For Fizz's eyes only" (likely a love letter or something of the sort) The cake? "Happy Birthday Fizz"

Its interesting to see two couples that are exactly the same but so different at the same time

I like the detail they put in these episodes there’s small things everywhere like at 7:40 the fire is in the shape of a heart in the lust ring.

If you're wondering, the Italian part is just a string of random words, like "Loud, quiet, good morning with clams", which makes it doubly funny that the Italian-coded Mafia goons are all amazed by it except for Crimson who's just confused.

They're not out because he's King of Lust, that's why the magazine called him a hypocrite for his supposed relationship, and because of the Ozzie's situation

Blitzo wears his mom's pendant from the picture and Barb and Fizz both touch it while saying they hate him

Blitz and Stolas really need to have a serious talk after this episode, but Blitz seems very reluctant to communicate with Stolas, so it would be a bit difficult, but I want to see that soooo badly, I hope the next episode will be all about them talking things over and fixing their relationships just like how Fizz and Blitz in this, only want them to be happy🥺

Unfortunately we’ll probably only get 1 more episode this year and it’s revealed to be something about mammon, more for show and a musical. So probably won’t get major plot points in it… I wish for the same thing

10:35 Yes some Helluva fans and haters are super annoying !🙄 They take things way too seriously. I’m glad I’m not into Twitter but I’ve see those people in other social media. I just try to block and ignored them as much as I can. People are obsessed about the big plot and “IMP” jobs but I think they miss the point of the series. It’s about the relationships and the situations the main cast gets into. Also there really isn’t a huge overall story each episodes it’s more or less meant to be seen as episodic. Yes the continuity and character development is important but plot it’s not the main point of the series.

Its only been a week since episode 4 and Stolas is already back up like nothing happened

I feel like it's more being in denial than obliviousness on Blitzø's part. He hates himself so much that he doesn't see himself as worthy of love. And as you mentioned, he pushes people away before they can leave him. It's theorized that knowing how he is, he'll likely take Stolas' giving him the crystal as Stolas abandoning him/not wanting anything to do with him anymore, rather than the act of genuine love that it is. He might even lash out so that he feels like he's the one doing the leaving. But once the transactional part of their relationship is gone and they've had time to really process how they feel about each other, they'll finally be able to communicate how they feel.

Pilot’s are usually to show a network what a show’s going to be about, a lot of the time with different voice actors than the actual series. However, since HB is independent, the pilot was posted to KZread to show viewers what to expect in the series.
