What a lot of good finds! Thanks for the ideas. I have those triangular motion detectors around my yard so that if I have to go out at night, they go on when I step out the door. If they are on, I open the door cautiously, or not at all, and just wait inside. I want to see how much you like the dried foods. I've thought about them.

I also have a hand cranked weather radio/ all the same features. Purchased after unknowingly camping in the middle of a tornado warning. I didn't have cell service, primitive camping in the Apalachicola Forest. Lesson learned 🔥

Wow! This video contains so much beauty and practical products. Thank you so much. Checked out Harmony House... unbelievable. I truly had no idea there was such variety in dehydrated food! Will stock up!

We too use Harmony House items - both for backpacking and road travel - we have become huge fans of shelf sustainable things in the van. During our cross country road trip last year we learned that the more things that can stay in the cabinet rather than the fridge, the better! I love my Hot Logic n use it often. I m with ya on not using burners inside. I keep cheese n crackers plus tuna packets, PB n dried fruits for easy good food if weather etc makes eating harder.

Frozen food is great. Fruits and vegetables are frozen immediately after picking, no nutrients lost. Fresh fruits and vegetables are frequently sprayed and coated before traveling long distances in refrigerated trucks to the local market.

So true, frozen food is great, unless you're traveling and don't have reliable refrigeration. 🙂

Be careful using essential oils around dogs because some of them can be toxic

Just a thought...keep your peelings...offer them to local farmers or pig ranchers in trade.

I have a 700w Bluetti and a 1200W Oupes. The Bluetti solar panal failed and customer service is aweful. I love the Oupes. I'm not knowledgeable about power stations, except to know what works and is easy. I did a review. I think it still has 10% of in the link kzread.info/dash/bejne/gHaltsdufbCsZMY.html
