The more I watch this film the better it gets.
I remember watching this with a girlfriend, and when the mask was off she said 'so handsome'. I had to agree.

Clearly that comment irked you subconsciously because it was emotionally noteworthy enough to make its imprint on this scene. Even all this time later when you rewatch this clip again, thats the only emotionally significant memory you retained and it even haunts you until now so much so that you felt the need to tell other people about it publicly (vent) and gather their opinion. Well I'm here to tell you, even though you're going to have an instintcually violent reaction because it digs at an insecurity you're afraid to think about. Chicks love to drop hints of borderline attraction to other men to play on your deepest fear of being inferior to other men who will supercede your place to send you into a mental frenzy and keep you on the edge.
