This van is in a category all by itself. Seems well-built, however I can't see ever feeling comfortable in this. I'm not a fan of overly-cutesy "Instagram-ready" vans that are comfy while not altogether very usable. This is the opposite - seems really usable - industrial. I suppose a bit of artwork or splashes of color would go a long way, though I'd still not like their fuel bill! I am building my van now, and putting in a similar Murphy bed. Hopefully I won't end up so sterile and overly efficient.

This is honestly why I watch van videos, but don't buy vans...the crash testing just isn't there. You cannot say that it's "close" to DOT approved because you have zero clue how the L track bolts will hold up. Plus, without a bulkhead that stops everything from flying at you, you just don't know. Same problem with busses and motorhomes, etc. I love the idea of traveling with my kids in an arrangement where they can have a table and do fun activities and see me well during the drive, but it just doesn't feel safe to me. Still, I watch the videos cause they're amazing for ideas for trailers. Just wish someone would sell one that's crash-tested. Never gonna happen, though. Too pricey, too much customization.
