Here's how I organized/used the van during my first trip in awhile. Systems and organization are everything, especially in a small space. I'm hoping that being able to reference this will save me some time when packing the van for future trips lol

That is a mansion sized compared to my minivan. I always repurpose stuff for my camper builds. If you guys come to Orange County, maybe I can repurpose some furniture to fit your mansion of a van. haha

When i lived in a van , i bought a zero sleeping bag and used a thick/ comforter on top. And i fully insulated the walls and floor of the va

I just went out and measured my Dodge van and if you sleep sideways like that your bed would be 5'6" I don't know how tall you are but that seems doable. Come to think of it, my van has insulated walls and your van would go from window pad to window pad so you probably have 5'9" or more. Good idea.

Well it's nice you're spending some time back in the van even though it's not full-time anymore. It's good you have your climbing gear in there so you can go anytime you want and be prepared for it 👍🏻

When it gets colder, think about trying an electric blanket over another blanket(so you don’t have to wash it). It hardly uses any power, and the lowest setting will probably be all you need.

Drawing and then building are two different things. It makes yo spend more time in your vehicle to learn where to put everything. Mines a no build.

I have a 2000 dodge 3500 extended passenger maxi van too, i sleep in the same direction and im 5'11 and fit just fine, I'm really interested in getting the fiberglass hight roof too. I went to your original video but the links associated to the cost and are down unfortunately, im sure prices have changed since then im just trying to get an ideal of the cost fot the same van

I got mine through a company called fiberine (linked below). It's all kinda custom with pricing etc. but I budgeted around $2k-$4k back in 2016ish and that worked out well! fiberine.com/GVMR/Home.html

I am concerned that in an accident the fridge would go flying. Ratchet straps would be stronger, or an enclosure.

So I'm no sissy I've served in the Marines, lived in mountainous areas although I'm curious if you go outside to use the restroom without a partner near by?
