Thank your wonderful mechanic for being so thorough . If you had lost a back wheel going down the highway it could of easily ended up in a roll - over crash . I say he saved your life and maybe others . How do I know this ? I'm a retired vehicle and aircraft mechanic . I know who your co - pilot is . Your really a pip , Lulu !

Sorry the old van failed, but the new temporary build looks just great!

That little ladder doohickey is brilliant!

Lulu, did a really fantastic job just putting this together to get on the road. I love it. And I understand about vans being so hard to find that are worth buying. Safe travels ladies!!

Such a great setup, she is a pro at this.

I like the idea of the skylight also. Then you can put a rack on top, & a deck. .. For myself, i would probably want the front curtains to be more permanent = esthetic possibilities, easy access & one less thing to store. .. I have 1,000 watt battery, but i wish i had 2,000. However, when i get my van, i may have 3,000 installed instead.

Thanks Jan, I just love Lulu's creativity (and in such a pinch!) I'm trying to "no build" my 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan, spending NO money and using just what I have already - for the most part - and the kitchen set up didn't work as planned and it's back to scratch. 🥴 Things always work out better in our heads don't they? But I'll get there 😁 Subbing to Lulu now! Thanks ladies! 💙

I can't get over her great personality! I laughed and took so many notes. I don't know why the video just stopped when she wasn't done touring at all. Saw the original ladder/piece years ago on Shark Tank..lol...Lulu is a riot!

She shares her information in detail so this is great. I don't think I could do this because since she had trouble finding someone to remove the seat .. . I can see that being a problem as well. Glad she had someone willing to take the time and reconnect the airbag I love the bed placement. I loved the entire setup but that was my favorite. And the repurpose of the trellis, excellent.

I saw the tour of Lulu's first van and enjoyed it enormously. Sorry to learn she had to get rid of it, however, it's much more important that she is safe in her travels. I so admire her organizational skills. No space goes to waste. She is very creative. Love her upbeat temperament. I see to many younger females on UTube who are depressed and whining all the time. This lady is such a joy to watch. Jan, you really know how to pickem. ❤😊🤩

Lulu said the Caravan had more square feet on the floor, but she likes the extra head and shoulder room Still can't stand up. Shirts are no problem putting on in a minivan. The key to pants is that they should be loose and stretchy.

I love listening to Lulu talk and wonder where in MA she's from. Sounds like a Quincy accent, but it could be anywhere east of Worcester technically. Yup, I grew up in MA. Still there and looking forward to retirement time when I finally get to do what she's doing, but full-time!

I have a cargo van too it's a Ford Transit and I purposely did not want windows on the back. I'm currently putting ventilation that you can do on the side or on the top but I think I'm going to do it on the sides cuz I'm a little bit worried about the roof leaking. I agree with Lulu I haven't even insulated and I like having the metal cuz I can have a lot of magnetic things. Lulu, if you have wireless charging you can charge your phone right on top of the Bluetti... just set it on there.

It does sound cozi not to have windows. Wireless backup cameras would be a good addition.

Hi Lulu n I like ur simple build with great cold storage ideas. I am sorry u couldn't wait to travel since u could have added a poptop r hardtop to ur vehicle if u had more time to search 4 vehicle without paying extra 10k. Poptop companies are GTRV, sportsmobile or field vans or Fiberine for solid topper that gives u more storage and u would be able to stand. Ur idea 4 skylite is a nice touch. Have fun with ur future trips. rox

Thank you for sharing Lulu’s new van. I really like your style of interviewing people. You patiently let them talk without interrupting them. There are a few youtubers that could learn from you. I’ll go on their channels hoping that they have changed their mode of interviewing because they have some interesting people and van builds to look at but unfortunately they usually haven’t so I just leave their channel. Lulu is very inspirational and full of energy but I didn’t see the link for her channel in your description but I found it by just searching for it.

Be careful with solar panels against paintwork and window seals. Panels can create heat behind them creating damage.

I use my Samsung Ultra 21 cellphone. The Ultra 23 just came out and it has amazing low light and night photography.

Each of those solar panels are $467 EACH and the bluetti power thing is $2,000. Man. That's $3K for power. That's a lot of money.

Great freezer idea. I had this idea myself, but I bought silicone bags that I can put water in to freeze. Worked well on a recent trip. I can also use the water at a pinch or store food in the silicone baggies in the freezer....
