Ok I am a Male , But I found these ladies ideas interesting. I will share something that most ladies might already know. I go fishing lots around different water ways and sometimes you run into what they call sand nats. They are almost to small to see,but they will set your skin on fire. What I carry in my fishing bag is a bottle of skin so soft made by avon. Stuff is good for your skin,it smells good and it really does work.

Same here. Labor of love can quickly take over your life. When I recently "spoke up" I was drowned out by loud voices saying things like What else would you do? Your nit picking etc. This pushes me closer to God, with prayer and preparing for the future, my health doesn't suffer. Keep yourself healthy with many blessings for your future.

I worked as a campground host, and dogs pretty regularly got away from the owners. We would have to drive around the campground asking everyone if it was their dog, so putting a sticker on the dog tag with your campsite number is brilliant! We also had a lost dog hanging around just outside the camp ground who was not owned by anyone in the campground. It was 3 months before we could catch him. When we finally did the phone number on the chip, and tag was no longer in service. Also, if you have poor cell service or none, be sure to move where you do so you can receive a call.

Watching these videos and seeing so many solo women doing what I’ve always wanted to do makes me believe I can do this unafraid. My husband and I have always planned this, even before it was a thing. Though we are enjoying where we are at the moment, a time shall come. Life is too brief. We both agree that in the event one of us faces the loss of the other before we do it together, we shall of course grieve but shall move forward with joy. We come this way but once.

I forgot to mention last night that you need to add alcohol periodically to the paint can “campfire” and that the higher the alcohol % is the better, so 91% rubbing alcohol will produce a better and hotter flame than 75% rubbing alcohol.

@Denise Hi Denise! I’m 65, currently living in my camper van since last February, but stationary while I work to finish the build. Hope to be on the road by April. My CamperVan is very small. But I started out with 3 kitties (cats). My sweet Daisy passed last July due to lung masses. She was around 10. I still have Coco who is 9 and Canyon, who just turned 18! I had planned to break them into the travel part gently. I started with running the motor quite a bit to let them get used to it. However, when hurricane Ian decided to come our way, we quickly hopped in the camper and headed in the opposite direction. As the hurricane kept moving, so did we. They had about a week of traveling around. They responded very well. Of course, as we all know, each cat has its own individual personality. But it actually would be better in most cases to get them acclimated while they are younger. I don’t know how old you are, but if yours are only two years old, you may have a long wait before you are able to travel. Canyon does take gabapentin per the vet as needed but this is because she’s always been high strung. It also helps her neurotic scratching. This is nothing new she’s always scratched and groomed excessively. Plus she doesn’t much like Coco. She didn’t like Daisy either. I raised Canyon from three days old, so she thinks it should only be me and her. Not trying to tell you what to do. I just wanted to share my experience, and let you know that it can be done. In my case, I Kinda needed to move in to a small place quickly and no way could I leave my babies behind.

I loved these tips there were some great ideas that I am definitely going to be using i'm so glad to see women my age sharing ideas and helpful tips for living the nomad life. I use a French press when I travel And instead of rinsing it out I wipe it out with a paper towel. It can make your hand a little bit messy if you're not careful but you can but you can get most of the grounds out with one paper towel toss them into the trash and then wipe it out with a second one and you avoid using any water it's really easy and convenient.

I prop a $9 reusable filter in my cup and do a pourover. To clean, knock out the grounds, let it dry and knock again to get the remaining grounds. Same as the pourover coffee you can order and pay a lot for in a coffee shop. I make it this way at home too.

Hi I've been traveling in a vans, in boats pretty much anything I can find to travel in. The best thing I use to keep warm is salt lamps they only draw 20 watts and they become very warm. I like to put them by my heater while I'm driving so that they're warm up. then I put the lamp inside them and turn them on. They will warm up quite nicely by themselves also. It's the best...

I was hoping somebody would talk about pottying for older people. I got some stuff on Amazon and could not use it because it was too short. I also struggle with incontinence. I get on my belly and get in a crawling position. I spread an underpad in front of my knees and crawl up to its center. Then I use a clean Bunny ice cream container. Put the whole thing in the bucket to dispose and clean it in the bathroom.

@@ButterflyTracks I've had 5 of them. Such total clowns, they are!!! Four of them were purebred Dachshunds and one was half Dachshund and half Pekingese. Totally silly, entertaining animals. My last one lived to be 20 years old and only died due to an accident. The half Dachshund, half Pekingese was adorable, kookie looking with an incredible red coat and extremely stubborned and talkative. I can't have another one because they live so long and I am old. I have a 3. 1/2 pound tiny Chihuahua now. Also an awesome dog.

Also, if you have poor cell service or none, be sure to move where you do so you can receive a call.
the lady with the cool/warm towel. I've never seen anything like that! I need that. :D

Peppermint essential oil also helps repel Mosquitos. You can just put a drop on your finger and pat it on your arms, neck etc.

Hi I've been traveling in a vans, in boats pretty much anything I can find to travel in. The best thing I use to keep warm is salt lamps they only draw 20 watts and they become very warm. Also water and vodka. The alcohol helps sterilize and doesn't smell as bad.

Neither vinegar nor alcohol cleans Disinfecting is not cleaning Let’s get off the food and saliva before worrying about sterilizing etc

@@ButterflyTracks sorry don't do Facebook anymore. 😑

Some really cool gadgets, but what I was most impressed with were the adorable Dachshunds. I just love Dachshunds, the clowns of the dog world.

Thank you lovely ladies so many great tricks of the trade and each one is one great idea after another can't wait to one day meet you all. Have a wonderful holiday
Great tips. Thanks for sharing.
