Exactly. It's a really practical, well designed, solid build. I've seen ridiculously over priced, over built campers, that are not half as well designed as yours.

Brilliant build all the way around! Awesome bathroom /shower set up.....love the out takes/ bloopers at the end! Lovely couple! 😊❤️

Firstly, love the video ( easy going, no nonsense, not trying to be something your not!!) came across the channel by accident, and so glad i did! I too have had a vivaro (LWB) as my first camper, enjoyed but need more space / scope. Sold last month after 4 years, and i am on the hunt for a MWB Crafter!!! Love your layout!, will be watching all your videos over the next couple of weeks, thanks so much for taking the time to post.

Great job. We want to do mwb Crafter so it's great to see how you've utilised the space. Much is close to what i have in my head. We'd have to rethink the fridge placement as that's where we'd "kennel" the dogs. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼

Most succinct clearly presented no nonsense video and van build/tour and UK yay. Looking to move the tiny circle sink to the door. Where did you get the countertops please? Do you have video on that build please. Will keep my water tank underneath the big square sink from BQ. The shower set up is very innovative. Like the use of entrance for shoe holder 👍

Lovely couple, lovely job, lots of good ideas and a nice finish, my only question is about the exhaust for the diesel heater, is it okay to have the exhaust go into the van and not to the outside via a vent? The exhaust is under where you sleep so it made me wonder. Cheers and happy travels.

Love this build hoping mine will be similar, but i have the the low roof version little less storage but can't wait to hit the road definitely gained a new follower ☺️

I love your conversion! I'm looking at exact same model, colour and size to convert. I assume yours is a MWB Sprinter? I'm hoping to have my double/queen size bed the other way around though and to fold or slide to a single. My main intention is a shower/toilet in corner behind driver seat. Your sink cabinet is brilliant!

Ben found it on EBay for cheap, infact it was the first thing he bought for the conversion, even bought it before he got the van!

Thank you 👍 so far we haven’t been court short with not enough power. Something I forgot to mention in the video is we also have a split charge relay fitted so the battery’s get a good charge when we drive.

Thanks for posting the video, I'm just about to start my camper conversion and any ideas I gain from videos like this will be very useful as it's my first attempt. Do you have a link to your oven/hob ?

It is indeed a MWB & we didn't undersling the water tank as we plan to travel to some cold places and we don't want it to freeze 👍

So great to have found a build so similar to the one I'm planning, so thank you! Been weighing up whether to invest into a compost toilet (around £900!!) or into a portable one like yours. How has it treated you so far, any issues with disposal etc? Also, how is your shower/tap water heated, is it gas or solar? Great vid!

Hi Adam! Thankyou, glad the video has been helpful for you. We've had no issues with the portable one, apart from the fact that we'd like a bigger one as we currently need to empty every 2 days. We always empty it on a campsite. I can see the appeal of a composting one though but they are pricey! Our water isn't heated at the moment, it's cold showers for us when we are off grid but Ben is looking into a water heater to install in the near future 👍

Depends what you're comfortable with I guess, some people will pay a campsite a couple of quid just to use their facilities but not actually stay the night. I know of some vanlifers that will empty their toilet in public toilets, but only if they are using eco-friendly chemicals. Or just try and use public toilets as much as you can so that you get longer between the emptying out of your own toilet 🚽

@@aj08abb2 A quick reply to your question about a composting toilet: we think they are SO much better than a cassette toilet! We did a 10 week trip up through central Australia in our camper and it was great not to have to empty a stinky slurry of poo and wee every few days. In a composting toilet the liquids are separated and have to be emptied every 3 or 4 days, but we didn't need to attend to the solids until we got back home. We just left things 'maturing' for a couple of weeks and then emptied it into our garden - it looked just like compost you buy from the hardware! Also - absolutely no smell inside at all. Ours is a Nature's Head, which is a yacht type toilet. HTH.
