Glad this returned to my feed! I had only watched to the ice cream cones 😂 (15 min). Then after watching the end had to go back to beginning to refresh my memory. This is so good and exactly where I hope to be in just over one year. Road bike, mountain bike, SUP, along with of course, one of your vans! (maybe a dog) We may have to finalize plans soon. Hope you can get another AWD Transit in that cool color you just got a couple weeks ago! Have you added a seat for Levi?

Thanks, Ron! You prompted us to watch this again as well - very fun memories! Sounds great. We do have another identical AWD Transit (in the same Abyss grey color) on order, since June, so hopefully we get a build date soon. No extra seat for Levi yet but hopefully one day soon!

Indie's a good dog! Excited for you as you begin your journey. I remember when my husband and I took our sailboat which we've lived in full-time for 8 years, off-grid for a year. Learning all the ins and outs of off-grid, being on high alert at the beginning until we found our rhythm - it was glorious all the way. Expect nothing, enjoy everything. Wishing you kids the best!

10:55 - Tim being too cool for school. Nice catch! All in all, wonderful shots of some beautiful places. Love, love, love the crystal clear turquoise water in the last location. What kind of range are you getting on the e-bikes, and are you recharging them off of the inverter via solar?

Haha thank you! 😊 Pretty amazing how clear that water is! 🙌🏻 We get around 70-80 km range on the e-bikes (with pedalling), and yep, then recharging from the inverter/battery bank which takes ~2 hours.

Thank you! 🙏🏻 We had NCM Moscow plus e-bikes. They were great for us! We ended up selling them around when we sold the van as we wouldn’t be using them much but will definitely look at getting same/similar ones in the future!

When you go hiking, do you worry about leaving your van in remote locations or if you have a security system would your share details?

No, we don’t have a specific security system (other than our dog, Indy, when he stays in the van). We like the FordPass setup how we can track the van’s location from our phone, but have also considered hiding a few Apple airtags around the van which we may do on our next van. Also considering some interior/exterior cameras on the next one that we can “check in” on remotely

Hey! How are you doing? I'm planning to visit BC soon for ~3 months. I'm looking for finding a small RV for 1 adult (me and my mountain bike). Maybe a Class B? I'm open to both options rent or purchase. However prices are insane... more than $100 a night for renting. I'm not sure if I'm searching in the wrong places or what. Do you have any advice where to look? Best!
