just watched this video and was about to comment the same thing. this group of kids are great, but gives you another appreciation of "van hagar". whatever you think about that era of van halen, he could sing like few can.

This was one of my favorite all time songs. I was in my barney underwear as a kid listening to this after that Might Morphin Movie. Times were simplier.

Not to ding these guys by any means, they did amazing, but Van Halen did with 4 what these kids did with 7! That's why they were the mighty Van Halen! It was really great to see all the different parts performed live by these kids though!

All of you youngsters have incredible talent!! Never quit playing your music! I was a jock in high school… all crippled up now because of it. I started playing guitar off and on in my twenties. It’s the best therapy for the soul! It makes me proud to see you all playing and having fun. Another plus… is that it also gives others so much pleasure to watch and listen! Well done!

Glad to see the younger generation keeping Van Halen's music alive. Vocally, this is a very hard song to sing. Even Sammy can't sing it like before. He does an acustic version live and lowers the key to fit his current vocal pitch. Props to the female singer. She nailed it. The band is awesome. Keep Rock'n.
