Yaaaaassssss!!!! My Brother Mike Conway is back!! My Rock n' Roll Brother in Halen. Yes. Yes. Yesss!!!! Holy Cow, Mike! Back on Van Halen again, and man is this incredible! Spot-On, and one of my favorite Hagar Era songs for the Band. In fact, my (2) Daughters have rode around with me for years with The Halen - and my older Daughter has always loved this song. We have enjoyed it together on many a drive. It's a beautiful song, but it still rocks! And Bother..... you CRUSHED it!!! Spot on. Incredible tone. Unbelievable, the way you've got that amazing kit dialed in. And I couldn't stop staring as you worked the hi-hat with your foot... while keeping the groove locked in on the ride, with your right hand, in certain sections. Man... just insane how good of a musician you are. You're a killer drummer. But you're an incredible * musician * Mike. My favorite drummer on KZread by a mile. Keep on rockin,' and keep on bringing us this incredible music!! You just polished off my week-end, as I prepare for the work-week, and a 3-day week-end to follow!

Wow Mike! First cover of the Hagar era, right? Great as always! I went to see Van Halen in 1992 in Mexico City and that’s why I prefer Hagar era, although I would loved to see Van Halen in the 1984 tour!

I haven't picked up sticks in 20 years - kids and career will do that to you - but every one of your extraordinary Van Halen covers makes me want to thump those sweet skins again! Brilliant work, Mike. Any chance of covering Van Halen's 'Amsterdam' off their 'Balance' album? It's up there with Alex's best and I could never get it quite right whenever my band foolishly decided to cover it.

Wow, thanks so much! I didn't play drums for about 20 years too -- same story, kids & career. I finally got back into it thanks to the electronic kit (no noise)! Amsterdam is an awesome tune and it's definitely on my list! Thanks a ton for your awesome comments -- they really make my day! 😃🙏💛🙏

It still amazes me how perfect you got Alex's snare sound on your kit! I also notice what looked like an eDRUMin module on your kit? How long have you had that? I got two eDRUMin10s for my acoustic to electronic project that I am going to start working on soon. Great drummin as always Mike!

Thank you RGM! Yes, that is an eDRUMin10 you spotted! I've had it about a year... it replaced a Yamaha DTX500 module. Most of my cymbals are routed into it... I haven't tried it out on my hi hat yet. Rock on man! 🙏🙏💛💛
