FINALLY!I've been searching for this forever!! I recorded this on tape the night it aired on KRQR 97 in San Francisco Bay Area and took it to High School the next day and everybody was CTFU!!This was in February '84 and the next month tix went on sale for the 3 legendary Cow Palace shows!...The stripper and the Ozzy "playin scary music and everything" impersonation had me dyin!
Getting to talk with the band, on national radio, had my head spinnin' just a bit back then...

At the height of their success, Dave decides to leave to become a so called movie star…wtf!! Despite all that, they are my all time favorite band! 🤘🏼

the good part... the split preserved Legendary status w 6 iconic records and what the next version would always be compared to :-)
You can't even ask the band a question because they're high and drunk as hell!
Is there a recording of the ~1988 Van halen Bob Coburn show? The one where Eddie talks about how he lost his hair at the end of the 5150 tour?
