Sammy sounds great live. He's in his 70's and can still put on an amazing vocal performance. What are you talking about? Even if Dave decides to back out, Sammy and a bunch of other singers can lend their vocals for a night or two of tributes. The list is endless if they start calling some people.

Thanks for the info. I had no idea.
Sometimes I wish Eddie and Don would quiet down and let Jim run a proper interview
The Rock n Roll hall of fame is now a mosh mosh of musicians not just rock musicians… that said, I believe Eddie Trunk, who’s career is to keep the rock community involved in the back stories of rock musicians making us love the very people making their way into the rock n roll world. Eddie is indispensable in this world. Thank you Eddie Trunk !
That Metal Show returns.
Absolutely! VH can certainly be correctly referred to as America's Led Zeppelin or The Who level band. Very accurate analogy.
Michael is a class act
Fantastic interview!!! You guys rock. Michael was awesome. I miss That Metal Show!! I’m a new fan of this podcast. I listen to Jim on Boneyard every week. Love all 3 of you. ❤
How about bringing VH back with DLR, Michael, Alex, and Wolfie on Lead Guitar 🎸??? I think that would rock!!!

Van Halen is gone. No VH without Ed. A tribute show would be awesome, but VH is gone.
I saw VH on that 2004 tour and even on EVH worst, he sounded great. Lucky for me in SA, the band performed well.
Michael should just write a book on Road Stories.
I just ordered the hot sauce 3 pack! Looking forward to 2024!
When Roth was put into the straitjacket at the hotel, wasn't that taped into the Panama video? Probably the not the only instance. What a great interview.
I've run into Sammy a few times in Laguna (won't say where) now I know why! lol
I have always been a giant VH fan, I was so sad when Eddie passed.
Thanks Mike for stories!
Another fab interview. Metal blessings from London 💀🤘🏻
No one can drop names better than Trunk
I still have my Red vinyl Van Halen 1 album

Van Halen 1 was not on red vinyl. Looney Tunes 5 song 12" demo was.
Michael Anthony what a guy. To still be so loyal after they way the those guys treated him. He was is the heart and soul of that band
Michael Anthony on a Zoom meeting is a form of comedy I didn’t know existed until now.
Am I the only one who loves Diver Down?? I guess it has a lot to do with my age when it came out, I was 11-12 and I still love that album but the first was the best .

One of the most underrated bass players. I’m glad he’s still playing with Sammy. At least we can still hear some VH music live.

I'd love to put him in a band with other guys that were unfairly bounced. Scott Rockenfield(ex Queensryche) Jake E. Lee (ex Ozzy ) Michael (ex VH) Jeff Scott Soto (ex Journey) You could call the band "Scarred"
Van Halen 2 is the best album. I love the first one of course, people were blown away by it! But VH 2 cemented that sound. RIP Eddie 🎸❤️💋we still miss you. I saw Eddie on a Dutch interview from 1979 the other day. GOAT
Yes I felt that on Wolfie solo I heard it too mikey
VH wouldn't have been as good without Mr. Anthony.

Very cool interview.
Eddie “close, personal friend” Trunk
100 percent disagree with Jim , push comes to shove , was so different and killer , the solo in that song is one Eddies best IMO , one foot out the door is killer also

One of my favorite tunes off of probably my favourite album. 🤟 RIP Ed Leffler, Noel Monk, Mark Stone, Edward Van Halen
Hope you guys have another TmS on you tube or somewhere loved the show
Always a class act 🤘
Is Michael going to be 35 his whole life?? He never ages lol
Mikey may have played his Rock Star career better than anyone EVER. Him and Sammy are two people who might be two most genuinely happy people on the Planet. #VanHalenForever
1000% a great guy! A book from M A would be nice, but we can forget about any dirt as he said.. He's just to damn nice...
Most underrated bassist in rock. Dirty Movies best song.
The best part of Michael and Sammy is they really seem like just normal guys. If you came up to them they would talk to the fans. Alex and Dave would not. Dave may even try to charge for a VIP experience to say to words to him. .
Rest well great one the music world misses you..EVH
I'm as bummed as Mike that there's never been an Ed tribute thing that Taylor had. It's absolutely criminal. Even it's an unauthorized one with the family not involved. I'm sure Al wouldn't mind.

there are plenty of VH tribute bands: Atomic Punks/ Fan Halen / Hot For Teacher / Nerd Halen.. If anyone could start the engines on guitar Joe Satriani and or Steve Vai and Wolfgang VH must be involved because he played bass from 2007 till the last show in Oct 2015.
You guys are freaking nuts. No way Women and Children is better than Fair Warning

For me it's ... VH (debut) 1984 Fair Warning
Introduced to VH via FAIR WARNING, hands down. Mikey seems like a really good dude too.
First “4” albums … OMG How Fucking Definitive is that statement…? It’s right the FUCK ON!👊 I love Hagar and Eddie but ya gotta give credit where it’s due Love ya Mike
As a fan more then anything I would love to see a bunch of rehearsal footage from both era 's. (if it exists) ? The problem I see with a tribute to ED is well that means Roth & Sammy would both need to be involved and neither can sing too well anymore especially Dave. Plus they don't get along. Great episode fellas and awesome seeing MA.

Sammy sounds great live. He's in his 70's and can still put on an amazing vocal performance. What are you talking about? Even if Dave decides to back out, Sammy and a bunch of other singers can lend their vocals for a night or two of tributes. The list is endless if they start calling some people.
Michael has the same laugh as Sammy.
