Banana pancakes- 1-2 Bananas and 1-2 eggs - Mash the banana & mix together with the egg into a batter (doesn't have to be smooth) then fry in some coconut oil (making sure NOT to heat the coconut oil at a high temp as it burns quickly) add honey and lemon over top once cooked.

Few thoughts for you😊.. 1 might be easier to keep the van warmer if you keep the pop top down if it’s just you sleeping in the van so your heating a smaller space. 2, thermal shock is a thing , so I’d be a little more cautious over putting hot pans and kettles on it straight off the gas burner. 3, fridges work on removing the air, so a full fridge is always more energy efficient, even if you just keep water bottles in it. Otherwise a fun vid’ to watch keep up the good content😊

Van is looking smart as mate! Try this little quick recipe when you are next out! Quick 1 Pan Cheats Paella... Cut the Chorizo into good chunks, fry them off to get some colour and release the oils then remove from the pan. Add the onions and peppers and cook for a few mins. Then add the Garlic, Tomato Paste and Smoked Paprika. Cook for a short period then add the prawns, Peas and Chorizo into the pan. Then add the rice and a bit of the Chicken Stock with the lid on. Cook until the Prawns are pink and the rice as absorbed the stock. Finish off with some seasoning as required and a squeeze of Lemon. Ingredients: Chorizo Stick (High Quality) Prawns (Frozen Jumbo) Flame Roasted Peppers (Jar) Onion (Chopped) Garlic (Chopped or Minced) Peas (Frozen) Tomato Paste (Good Squeeze) Chicken Stock (250ml) Smoked Paprika (1Tspn) Lemon Seasoning (Salt & Pepper) Plain Rice (Ready Cooked Packet)

Quick cook up i do. Especially at work on my camp stove in my ute outside my office. Take two wraps. Put sliced or grated cheese inside. Fold in half. Butter up a hot pan. Fry on one side till golden or crispy. Flip over. Sprinkle a rub on the fried side and salt. Enjoy. Add more ingredients inside if you want like avocado, tomato , ham and so forth. So quick, easy, cheap and delicious.

I have a recipe. Smothered potato's and Sausage. You need 2 large potatoes ( doesn't matter what kind I use russets ) Butter, Sausage ,1 medium onion , salt and pepper. Cut onion how you like it, put in pan with butter, Start on low heat and sweat it a bit, peel and cut potatoes how ever you like then smaller the better, I grate them. Put potatoes in with onion and fry them in butter feel free to stir it as much as you like but you do want them to brown up a bit. Add the sausage and brown that up too, salt and pepper it at any time. When you think you might burn you food add a little water maybe half a cup cover and let the whole thing boil to mush. Pay attention and stir this stuff will stick to the pan. You want it sort of like mashed potato thickness. This can be a main dish or side dish, for anytime of the day. This is a basic southern US dish, you can make smother yellow squash the exact same way just use squash instead of potato. There is no set amount of anything in this recipe If you want more potato add it, more sausage great add that too, add as much butter as you like, salt and pepper to taste. Make the recipe your own just don't burn it. If you do burn it, pick out the burnt stuff and eat it anyway, the burned stuff won't kill you and you have to remind yourself no one is perfect and you're camping most likely No one else will ever know you burnt your food.

‘Oil the steak not the pan’ I only recently learned this and it makes a world of difference regards how much ‘smoke’ is generated whilst cooking a steak indoors. Basically, add oil to the steak (thin film) as a binder, season, then put into a hot pan.

A great one-pot meal I use when camping (at at home, for that matter) is Zatarain's rice packages, not sure if it's available in UK or not. There are multiple "recipes" to choose from, but I like the Gumbo and add a 1 lb smoked beef sausage sliced into coins while the rice is cooking. One burner, I saucepan, and water. Makes a lot, so be prepared for leftovers!

SImply get a can of roast beef hash, and two Kraft Mac & Cheese cups. Fry up the hash, cook the mac & cheese according to directions, and mix together with some parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Since Mike's in the UK, you can consider adding HP Sauce to the hash while it's cooking.

That's a pretty sweet Van setup, very clean and functional!!! Also- Cilantro and Coriander are two different parts of the same plant, Cilantro is the leaves and stem parts, and Coriander is the dried seeds, they produce different flavors and are used relatively differently with cooking (and Coriander is also used in some Brewing and Distilling). Not sure if you were using just the leaves/ Cilantro or were also using the seeds/ Coriander ground or whole in the sauce, but it looks tasty. You always cook some awesome looking grub mate! Cheers!

In the UK we don't use 'cilantro' at all, most British people wouldn't even recognise the word. Whenever a recipe calls for it it will be called either 'coriander' (meaning the leaves and stems) or 'coriander seeds'.
