@@riko6831 the tier 1 teams are the top dog of the valorant eSports. They were picked by riot and will be paid good amount of money by riot to play in the league. They also won't be relegated for a while, meaning that if they didn't perform well during a year they can always try again next year for at least four years. And the tier 2 teams are teams from around the world aspiring and playing to get into the tier 1 scene. I think 🙂

i think its part of the fact that the owners are genuinely well liked within the community making the T2 scene much more entertaining to watch with watchparties and stuff

Honestly a great video, straightforward and to the point even though the system is confusing. One thing I would love to see from Riot is that they finally add a server for Africa because I always see the whole continent is included in EMEA but we have to play the game on 150-190ms. There is a place for Valorant here, and even LoL, it’s just so frustrating that after all these years we are still not included. Hopefully one day. Keep up the great work love from South Africa.

I'm sure there are many people at Riot thinking about you guys and trying to make it happen. There must be a good reason they dont have it yet. I wish for it to happen, I have an African friend who I played a lot with and those games are just a vibe cause high pingers know they such a big disadvantage and you just play for fun. and it mostly is fun because you dont take the game too serious and laugh about the enemy losing to a high ping player, its like playing a whole different game with him, I wish they had african servers so I could join that server and experience what he is experiencing these past 2 years😂

My bid for T2 Pacific has to be the underdogs NAOS 🇵🇭, their original BREN CS:GO core used to stand up against many Chinese and SEA teams back in the day including present Paper Rex. They split into different teams when they moved over to Valo but only recently reunited. One familiar member of which is witz who played in Masters Berlin/Champions 2021. Nobody knows them but y'all will probably be hearing about them soon.

Since there is 3 Ascension tournaments, what if 2 EU teams win 2/3 Ascension tournaments and an NA team hypothetically doesn't win a tournament, does 0 NA team make it to franchising? Or am I confused about the teams. How many NA, EU and Pacific teams can play in 3 ascension tournaments and how does each regional team get slotted in their respective franchised league?

There's an Ascension tournament for each region There's already 10 franchised teams from every region and the winner of Ascension of their region will join them

So doing everything to make it easier for a American team to get in since it’s what 1 European team, 2 North American teams and 2 South American teams (I guess 1 Pacific team as well?).

"ascension" is the final tournament that decides who goes to franchising from the americas, EMEA and pacific, and "challengers" (which includes the playoffs) is the league system that decides who goes to the ascension tournament. it's all very confusing but I hope that helped :]
