when she started singing and said “at least should’ve done your makeup jodi” right after the detective left i got so uncomfortable... the way she acted so nonchalantly and like a child almost was fucking scary. i dont understand how people can show no remorse when they’re alone. it shows that she doesn’t regret her decision, she only showed regret or grief when the detectives were there.

It’s a form of denying the reality they’re faced with, no matter how many tv shows, interrogations, etc. they’ve watched beforehand. When it happens to someone in real life; everything they know goes out the window and fight or flight kicks in (which is also why you see her doing a handstand, moving around, reaching in the garbage, etc). Her body is literally searching for an exit in every possible way.

The lack of paw knowledge in comments is pretty interesting, so let me clarify: Not all lawyers who defend murderers are evil. Publicly they usually hold up that their client never did it, until they get their full paycheck at least. They rarely truthfully believe the bullshit these criminals spew at them. A job is a job, and lawyers are there for our protection as citizens with a criminal justice system. The worst part is if these criminals choose a public defender, some poor shmuck who cares about justice for all is forced to defend them in order to pay their bills. Lawyers can have no soul, but please understand that defense lawyers are not evil. The evil lawyers are those whom go at innocent people.

People will preach "innocent till proven guilty" then these same people will go into comment sections and say the defense attorney should go to hell for defending her. Someone has to be there to give a fair and unbiased trial to the defendant no matter the damning evidence. They are paid to to lay out their half of the evidence and try for a lesser sentence. Someone has to do the dirty jobs so defendants in the future that arent guilty have a right to a fair trial.

I find it interesting how she never said "I shot him" every single time the shooting was brought up, her statement was "The gun went off." as evidence of her manipulation attempt on everyone present in the courtroom. It may have not been intentional however it was clear that she was trying to convince them that it was the gun that killed him and not her actions in order to prove herself innocent. It also bugs me a bit that certain elements used in the initial investigation (i.e the voicemail left as an alibi, her having sex with another man just hours after killing him even though she claimed to be traumatized, etc.) were not used during the trial to dispute her story about feeling guilty and basically everything else she claimed

For those who don't know, standing upside down for a bit causes blood (which carries oxygen) to rush to your head. The more oxygen your brain has, the clearer you can think, that's why Jodi is doing that and why people tell you to take deep breathes when you're angry. A word of caution, doing this for too long at one time will drown your brain and kill you. Your blood cells are delivery boys, once your brain receives their package of oxygen, the cells need to head back to the post office for more, it's the whole reason your blood flows.
