    You are so lucky to live by the water, garage sales and thrift stores. Love doing that but limited in where I live in CA. Others cities in CA have those choices. Beach scenes are what I love. Beautiful heart in-spite of all your trouble..now I learned how to fix a mistake too. Tfs❤️

    I’ve seen videos where someone is using resin with no gloves, mask and inside, also one video where a lady is now disabled from the resin. So thank you for letting people know about how dangerous this resin is, and what they can do to protect themselves! ❤️

    Yes one of the first resins i used was some industrial resin someone gave me and although i used it outside because the smell was so bad it messed up my sinuses for months. And it took me a long time to realize what caused the sinus problems .9 And who knows what else it did to me) Then I started using total boat resin and because it was a low odor resin I thought it was safe. It wasn't till shortly after I started the channel that I realized I need to get a respirator. But at that time I still didn't know about resins without VOC's

    I just watched this video. The reason we cover our resin is what happened to this. It is dust. some epoxies are more prone to it than others. I always cover my projects now. I usually learn most things the hard way! LOL! I love your work and wish you didnt live so far away- we could have a blast working together.

    This is a very pretty piece. What do you use to clean your glass? And you must buy many mixing cups for your resin…if so, do you buy them in bulk. The final fix for the blemishes seems easy….hitting the like button!

  • @crazyglasslady

    @crazyglasslady

    Thank you Robert. To clean the glass I use regular window cleaner like windex. For this project I was using my reusable silicone mixing cups (linked under description) from amazon. But I have recently bought a bunch of disposable ones. I worry that if the reusable cup is not cleaned well enough particles will get in the resin. Well the final fix would have been easy if I had used the 80 grit sandpaper to begin with. Thanks for watching

    It might be cat hair. Cover it with a box to cure. I don't think I would try sanding it. I would just call it good. Glad to learn from you. I really like to see the problems people run into. It's very frustrating when creators make it look so easy and don't talk about potential problems.

    Oh yes did you watch the end I did sand it. Well when Im using resin I don't let the cats in and I put it in a room to cure that no one not even the cats go in but I do need to get some covers.

    @@crazyglasslady I use old boxes or plastic box covers. They work great. On my door window I put a piece of plywood over and the molding held it up off the glass then I put a sheet of plastic over that. Yes I saw you sanded. I would have been afraid of ruining it more, plus I'm kind of lazy.
