I like the round one more. You should try putting multiple layers of the polkadots and clear epoxy, could make a cool depth effect.

Epoxy mostly but with small details I use UV

Those are as cute as they can be! They look Valentine to me. You could even put the word “Love” or someone’s name across the bottom in vinyl. Just so cute!

I put a mirror under my molds when curing UV resin and it really helps. I use both for different projects. Most of my jewelry is with UV resin. I really love both of these because I have a huge fondness for polkadots!

I love the idea of doing the UV first and then epoxy over it! Great effect!

The hexagon shape seems to be a favourite & the pink glitter is SO beautiful. 😍 Haha Im amazed I like it so much, I tend to go for holographic glitters mostly.

They are both beautiful but I love the hexagon with the red glitters more, it looks more Valentine 😅. By the way I love and prefer to use epoxy resin because I tried uv resin couple of times and my project came out sticky and they bend when I try to dry them longer under the uv light. Thanks very much for sharing your super duper idea Jessica 👍🏽, another idea for me to practice 😉. Happy Valentine ❤ to you too.

I prefer the pink rim, circle coaster

I made the crazy cow line (in my shop) which was similar to your dots and I only used epoxy it works really well. I used up left over resin from other projects save the wastage!!

Circular one is my fave! I'm trying to get my (CHRISTMAS) tree decorated in time for valentines day... I literally have ONE DAY TO DO THIS AND GET THE VIDEO OUT 😂❤️❤️🌹🌹

Loving these. I work with epoxy resin mostly, but do use UV also. This year for Valentine’s Day, I am having a plumber and electrician over to fix my house. Also celebrating 25 years of moving to KY! Thanks❤

I love these!!! I'm having too hard of a time picking my favorite. Normally I would go with pink but I really like hexagon shapes!! I have done quite a few pieces in Epoxy but have not used the uv resin, and I have really wanted to start. So this video has got me inspired to start!!

I like them both, but I think that , if possible, I'd use the domed side of the dots. Of course, I don't know how to do that 😂

i use both epoxy and UV resin. and i think i prefer to work with epoxy more than UV, bc the quality i get out of it is a lot nicer. but there are a lot of fun things you can get out of UV too! so it kinda depends on what project i'm working on which i'll use first.

Can u please tell me the differences between epoxy resin and uv resin,i mean its uses?

@@CookingGamerS.A epoxy resin in a 2 (or more) part substance and it takes time to set, minimum 12 hours, often 24 or longer. this means you have time to set up what you want in the resin, how you want it to lay, etc. UV resin cures with UV light and is usually just a liquid by itself. you can cure in layers to create some fun shapes and stuff in your molds. i hope that helps! its a very quick nd dirty answer

Hi! Great video! Can you please share a link for the UV lamp you used? Also, I think you mentioned it's 84 watts. I found one that's 150 watts. Is that better or too high? Thanks!

Sorry I can't seem to find my lamp on amazon anymore. I bought it a couple of years ago. 150watt lamp can work too but maybe make sure it has a button where the light starts off weak first and then slowly goes up to 150. My 84watt lamp does that.

I have a question, why do you have to use the uv what Is it gonna do?

Where did you get such a high watt UV lamp?

UV resin I don't like. I hate the sticky. A waste of time and resin. I bought the light, it wasn't the cheapest but since I am on demonstrating is tight. I would use it more if I didn't have the sticky problem. Both coasters are beautifol
