Well I would say she loves him (at least at the beginning). At first she sees him as a way to get some "money" and after she joins SGC/SG-1 they are more like weird friends or something (even though she tries to seduce him a couple times I wouldn't call something serious). The only situation when your statement is true is in the episode Unending, when she truly starts to love him or more likely she wants to have some more serious relationship with him. It would be nice to see how their relationship has been involved since then and if they got together in this reality too...

it is not a uncommon phenomena that people who treat others like shit actually love each other. Not necessarily but it is some kind of way to push/challenge each other - or maybe just lack of social skills
