I've been using that one off and on since the '70's !!

I love that Vala had 120% total but, unlike most people in shows who do that and just can't math correctly she had a legitimate excuse for why the numbers were what they were.

If anything the two portrayals show Claudia Black's range. Aeryn was nothing like Vala. A shame she didn't get bigger roles, she's a really talented actress.

No, I love how they are 100% different from each other, shows how amazing an actress Claudia Black is. Even her guest stint on Beastmaster was completely different. ❤

12:55 Cracks me up every time. The way Vala turns and goes off screen, is the same way Miss Piggy did on the original Muppet Show.

It's why i love stargate many moments, lessons, and things said are actually true and real. Man that extra piece leftover😂why is that? i guess maybe it's the universe's way of to keep challenging us there's no other explanation, it's never going to be that easy there's always a catch.

From 1:30 is a masterpiece on female introversive and extrovertive personality types. Vala's cuddle of Sam. Her sincerity and Carters appreciation were equal. A rare "girly moment", love it.

Easily one of the best recent series finales.

God damn, we need a Stargate and Star Wars crossover so we can have Vala and Dr Aphra interaction.

I hate to be "That Guy" but I'm from Kansas. The population of Auburn has NEVER been 21,211. The population of the entire county isn't even that much. Auburn as of a 2010 census has 1,227 people. Also, there are far too many trees and hills in that shot to be Kansas.

In the episode where Vala was vetted to join the SGC... and got her immediate revenge on Woolsey in the gate room... She wanted to know what it would take to get one of those SG-1 shoulder patches. She gets one... right after Daniel is left in the hands of the Ori. It was on her shoulder as soon as the team returned to the SGC from Merlin's multiple-gate ride with Ba'al. 1:24. The SGC patch from early in the season has been replaced by a SG-1 patch... kinda surprised Daniel didn't Crack a comment on it after he returned from being a Prior...

I think we will take STG to the next galaxy.

Mitchell was maybe not the best SG Character but Vala made more than up for that

I thought they were both fine additions to the cast. The problem was they had to replace the Go'auld with the Ori. They were not as interesting as antagonists.

@@Aivottaja I found the switch from Egyption Mythology to Christian Mythology pretty interesting, i just thought that Mitchells "Fanboying" of SG1 in the beginning was super akward

I mean, they have got all of the ships, all of the special effects looking amazing and than there is the dragon, looking like something from 1980 movie.

@@honzasenbauer612 hard objects like ships are easier to convince you of reality. creatures another thing alltogether, thats why practical effects work so well in these series

@@sadev101 I get that, something that is always changing positions is very hard to light correctly, I edit and play with this stuff as a hobby, so I know how tome consuming and painfull it is to portray realistically. I wouldn't mind, if they at least made the physics a little better, forget lighting, if you have junk movements, lighting is not gonna save you. And I know that that shit is expensive, way more then a space battle, because thats much easier to construct. But at least a little something would be nice, or change it, so there is no Dragon, but some kind of a misty creature that resembles a Dragon in a couple of flashes. That way you don't need perfect movement, just still silluetes, you flash them for a brief moment and then the next. Your mind will fill in the rest from your imagination and it would cost less I believe

If you needed evidence MGM was dying and taking SG-1 with it... that is what financial decline gets you... special effects budget of a Hallmark movie...

Didn't like Vala, she came off as an annoying smart axx, also didn't like Cam or Landry, he was so boring. Stargate should after Season 8 keep it Sam, Teak and Daniel, the 3 new ones didn't ad anything to the show,

I have trouble with the idea of a “best of vala” video. There was never that much good to begin with.
