VAL - Official Trailer (2021) Val Kilmer Documentary

Ойын-сауық

For over 40 years Val Kilmer, one of Hollywood's most mercurial and/or misunderstood actors has been documenting his own life and craft through film and video. He has amassed thousands of hours of footage, from 16mm home movies made with his brothers, to time spent in iconic roles for blockbuster movies like Top Gun, The Doors, Tombstone, and Batman Forever. This raw, wildly original and unflinching documentary reveals a life lived to extremes and a heart-filled, sometimes hilarious look at what it means to be an artist and a complex man.

Val Was known as a nightmare to his fellow actors and directors throughout his entire career. He went as far as sabotaging productions if he didn’t get his own way, and verging on punch ups. A total car crash of a human being. What is interesting is how people like him because of the characters he portrays or because this documentary somehow vindicates him of his horrendous behaviour in the past. It’s a shame Val is not well, but that should not excuse his past actions because of this vanity project. On the flip side, it might be he realises on reflection how bad he was and is some how trying to make amends.
