    @@GasTraining I am bro yeah, I qualified around 9 months ago in gas . Really enjoying it. Been doing the plumbing for a few years and it all ties in perfectly. I've watched my boss do a few but never actually done much repair work myself but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Hope your portfolio and exams go well!!

    Great job , I notice the insulation foam was shot. Normally on these the door foam goes brittle requiring a new door at £200+ due to seal failure so worth checking the burner seal with your analyser if you ever come across this condition of the foam insulation.

    if you turn boiler power off after draining it will tell you if the water pressure sensor is block, if blocked it will still show pressure ie 0.5 or 0.3

    Hi, I’ve changed the diverter valve. But ch-flow pipe getting hot when hot water is on. Another problem after Changing divertor - the hot water working fine - but heating goes one and rapidly heats up and cuts out - radiator symbol flashes. I did do P0 purging. Still no luck. Any help Would be really good.

    I've got a 300mm bit holder that I use for these screws. I've had them chewed up before too but I've managed to free it by hammering a flat head onto the screw head and then able to tap it anti-clockwise to free it up

  • @cputilitysolutions

    @cputilitysolutions

    Yes - never drain from the PRV! Unless you're planning to change it! There's boilers have 2 drain off points, one on the flow and one on the return. You'll need to either clean and re-seat the PRV or replace it.

  • @parmbansal1

    @@cputilitysolutions thank you so much for your guidance. I have taken it apart/cleaned the PRV sadly it still drips. I guess the only option is now to replace new one, hope that stops it. Thank you again! Any other tips would be much appreciated.

    Done the exact same job on the same boiler the other day and when I ran the hot tap nothing happened... No tap symbol on the display nothing! Had to put the old motor back in the new diverter then it worked. Have you ever come across this before?

  • @cputilitysolutions

    @cputilitysolutions

    Not come across that before mate, but I've come across a job where I thought it was the diverter as it was passing down heating, changed it and still doing same thing. Ended up being PCB not sending correct voltage to the motor to move it fully back and forth!
