Hello, I noticed you have pegboard style on the vacuum board. I'm asking around to see if this method is better or some use 1 hole. I'm building a DIY and would like to know. Any thoughts?

if you are building a former with vac pump and tank single hole if you are using a vacuum cleaner the pegboard style

@@clintlucas7604 I have built both and found that when using a vacuum pump you need a reservoir tank to give you the first big suck to pull the plastic down and then the vacuum pump finishes off with the strongest but slower vacuum pulling the plastic into the fine detail so having a pipe that is short and just a hole with a few groves gives less area for the tank to empty before the pump kicks in ware as if you are using a vacuum cleaner based former then then having a gap bellow a holed board allows the vacuum cleaner to build a constant vacuum across the area and draw the plastic down evenly this is just my own thoughts from my own experience and others may have different views

Hi I am taking a break for a few weeks as I have been in hospital what were you looking for I can supply a vacuum former and heat box if you live in the UK unfortunately I cant post To US as voltage is different I sell primarily on ebay and will list the small formers at the moment but they take a week to make and post
