I don't usually comment on videos, but I felt it was necessary to chime in. For anyone who is in need of neuromuscular re-education (virtually the whole population) you just came to the right place. It is apparent to me that Dr. Fields is highly knowledgable and uses a Scientific Approach for prescribing these corrective exercises. You simply don't get that level of expertise with all doctors, so thank you for uploading these videos Dr. Fields.

Dr. Fields - thank you. My wife had me try these and they worked the 1st night. Doing these exercises eliminates snoring or decreases my snoring by 90%. I am very surprised such simple exercises work. I do focus before falling asleep on keeping mouth closed and breathing through my nose. I really appreciate you putting the time and effort into making this video.

I have been doing these exercises for about "10" weeks. It actually took about three weeks to help. Which maked sense, given that it is muscle training. But once it did began to work, the difference was amazing--I now sleep uninterrupted! I now do the exercises twice daily. I am a firm believer, in this preventative method! Thank you, for this help--it works!

Going to the ENT tomorrow. I have been dealing with snoring , pitch breaks, onset delays, my throat always feels swollen and it appears that every time I had a baby the throat issues got worse to the point I could barely swallow water. I'm in pain right now and happened to be on KZread to see if anyone was dealing with the same. I came upon this video and said "what the heck!" and completed the exercises. WOW... Thank you doc! The pressure in my sinuses diminished and my ears popped which I thought was super odd. I'm getting sleepy from how relaxed I was after completing the video. THANK YOU TONS!!! Chiros ROCK!

My obstructive sleep apnea was due to a vitamin D3 deficiency. My D3 level was 8. My ND had me take 30,000 IU of Vitamin D3 and 300 mcg of K2 per day. After six weeks, I noticed a difference. After 4 months, my D3 level is at 82 and I continue to take 10,000 IU of Vitamin and 100 mcg per day. I can sleep with no mouth device. I get no headaches when I wake up, and my energy level is increased so I required no coffee. My blood pressure went from 180/130 to 120/75, a nd I lost 50 pounds since I started this protocol. I get my D level checked every 4 month to ensure there is no Vitamin D toxicity level.

Hi doc - thanks SO MUCH for these videos. I've been struggling with sleep apnea for three years now, eventually leading to a CPAP machine. As I'm 35, I preferred to fix the problem instead of being hooked to a machine for the rest of my life, so I decided to try everything. Once I started doing your V1/V2 videos once a day I'm happy to report I have been sleeping perfectly, only sometimes wearing a positioning device (which is perfectly fine) to help me sleep on my side. My partner does not even hear my snore anymore. So again: hats off to you!

Not only has it helped with my tight jaw, clenching, etc. but it's actually calmed my nervous system. I even do a low hum while doing several exercises because this calms the vagus nerve....a key nerve that's irritated with chronic anxiety and stress. This is amazing!! Thank you. This led to being tired and always needing a powernap throughout the day. After about a week of doing these stretches daily before sleep I am already noticing a difference. I do not wake up as frequently and am more energised throughout the day without requiring a nap. Will continue doing them for sure! Thank you sir!

As a trained musician and music teacher, I understand the merits of discipline and consistency. In order to improve, methodology and consistency are required. Please, give these exercises the time required each day. Be patient and consistent. I am not attempting to be preachy or, shaming to anyone. I am just reiterating my experience with these exercises. Well it's been 3 weeks and I will say my sleep apnea AHI numbers are generally a little lower lately. I recently have changed my mask to a nasal pillow type, so that may be part of difference. I do these at night before bed along with a short yoga wind down. I'm sleeping longer each night, so perhaps. It's a combo, but I would say in general the apnea seems less intense. It's not gone, and without the CPAP I don't sleep as well, but I feel like these are helping. Will report back next week!

Excellent presentation - addresses not only what to do, but why. These are exercises traditional to the yogic sciences/Ayurveda, which have a comprehensive understanding of what the body/mind really is and how it is integrated and regulated. So pleased to this this coming from a western-trained physician - of course an open-minded DC instead of a Pharma Puppet MD. Be aware that sleep apnea can be caused by many of the hypertension meds. It is fundamentally a dysregulation in vagal tone.

🤩 wow Thanks so much!!! I feel my tongue tongue resting in on the right place of my mouth already and the muscles in front of my throat sore which is good. I’m already imagining my double chin disappearing, all from bad tongue posture. I also think this exercises will stop me from snoring!!!! Great Video and you’re so cute too! Subscribed !!!!

I tried these kinds of exercises for quite a while. They didn't help much. But using a breathing training thing like Ultra Breathe or expand-a-lung has definitely done the trick. I use it 5 minutes about three times per week, a little more often at first. I still do the tongue exercises but at least for me, without the breathing trainer, they simply would not be enough. Sweet dreams.

Hey Adam, thank you so much for these videos. My name is Ethan. I am 20 years old and struggle with sleep apnea. I am not overweight, and I am healthy. I decided to look into a sleep study to see what kind/and how bad I have it. I want to heal the root problems naturally, instead of relying on a CPAP that only treats the problem. When I find out the results of the study I will post them. This is day 1 of trying the exercises from all 3 of your videos. Along with that, I plan on exercising my lungs/ diaphragm with an O2 Trainer, blowing up modeling ballon’s, hiking, and practicing proper tongue placement by MEWing everyday with proper form. My goal is to completely cure my sleep apnea. 4-6 months from now after consistently doing these exercises along with the other training I mentioned I plan on getting another sleep study, so I can see the results on paper and shock my doctors. I will report back when the results of the first study come in, and I will check in once a month to update everyone on my progress. Here’s to better sleeping!🎉

It has "15" months since I began the exercises. I do at least "1" of them "2-3" times daily. Some days I employ all of the exercises. I used to have apnea attacks every night. I now sleep through the night, every night. I have yet to miss a day of the exercises. At first I was skeptical. I did not see immediate results but, I stayed with it and results happened. These exercises have worked wonders for my sleep. I understand that results may be different from person to person; albeit, discipline has worked for me. If one is not disciplined, these exercises probably will not work. Do not give up, if you do not see immediate results--the exercises worked wonders for me. It is muscle training! And this is not an overstatement. This is my "3rd" post to report my progress over the last "15" months. To all of the skeptics be patient and do the work! Thank you so much, Dr. Fields, these exercises have literally changed my life!

Wow that's really sleep abnea. I had a cpap machine for 20years, from 42 to 62. One day my partner discovereda juice recipe for abnea in a juicing book. Juice 2 carrots, 1 apple with peel, 1 lemon with peel & a big piece of ginger. I drink it every morning for a long time. It seemed so healthy that my partner had it too. Occasionally I slept with my partner without my machine on. One day she said to me, " you don't have the abnea any more." I went back to the abnea specialist
