Man, coming back after finishing up the Surge Concerto series, this song has more darn weight to it.

I love how they mixed together all the Singing Hills *o*

In my headcanon, the Singing Hill parts of the song is actually sung by main characters of each game. Also, knowing the feelings this Song contains, it feels like Ar Ciel makes a Peace Pact with people, and it's very touching.

As you celebrate the rebuild of the planet you are greeted with words of relief as your journey finally comes to an end. Shortly after you are greeted by the openings of the 3 different stories you witnessed coming up to this point, giving fragments and memories of each. And then when all is over you get the chance to tell everyone that "this is not a dream" through the only medium that really matters: The emotions in songs. And a little tear leaves my eyes as I reflect on this.

+Tagg Xero As the years go by, it's sad that this trio of games is somewhat of a underdog but yet, I am happy that it is left that. Only a few know and will treasure the game for what it is. Even if the games had game breaking bugs or glitches, I am happy to finish these games and just smile. Really happy that I got the Krut Hymneth box set in the end though. Worth the time and money.

+MetalPcAngel I get what you mean. I added these games to my personal list to play again once I'm old and dusty. I just hope we can get to see Ar Ciel and Ra Ciela and maybe another planet before the series end. There is so much lore, so much history in these games, but almost no media to support it. We'll just have to remain the players we are for their sake too.

Finally did it, just beat the third game (Tyria true end). First was alright. Second was amazing. Third was the weakest link. But i won't regret playing it because it had too many cameos from previous games.

People like to hate on AT3 but I think the ending is really good. Especially when you understand the translation of the ending song and the last fight final phase…

I don't think people hate on it. They just rightly point out that there is a lot of dumb stuff going on in it. Doesn't mean there aren't great parts.

I have never played these games. I just... came across these soundtracks on youtube years ago. I think I'll probably never get to play them, but the music still gives me chills.

They can be emulated easily on any current PC. Plus, you miss out on a lot from not listening to these songs in their original context.

All the music in Ar Tonelico is full of spirit and love. I wish it to reach every corner of the world

Without a doubt one of my favorite trilogy in the ps2 / ps3. story is excellent, music is just perfect in every way possible. what more can anyone ask? when i heard this ending credits the first time around, a tear ran down my eye from all the fond memories i had with the first 2 games.

Sol Ciel was the region from the first game, yes. The region from the section game was called Metafalss (or Meta=Falss, if you prefer the 'older' timeline name), not Sol Marta. Sol Marta was the relay satellite that Frelia lived in (and sung to create the second tower).

The end is the cherry on the top of an already amazing cake, so gentle and sweet.

My most favorite part is 2:35 - 3:10 . It's just mesmerizing

The ending of Chanting the Moon ~ Tsukikanade has a line that translates explicitly to "And blessing your future, I shall send you back to your world of origin", so I don't think that's the case. And such summoning lines have been present in Harmonics EOLIA, Harmonics FRELIA and their respective long versions before this.

The series was good. Yet 3 would have to change a LOT of things. Also, It would be posible for them to dial down (Or dial up) the fan service and innuendo. To appeal for a younger or older audience. Since the younger they are, the higher the sales?

Well, you could always look up the summaries to the light novels to see what was the conclusion to the events of the game, particularly the dangling plot thread related to Tyria. And while we don't even know if there will be a continuation for Ar tonelico, at least Ciel Nosurge seems to be a good start to a new music-based series from Gust, considering the level the music has.

I just noticed something. So the Legends of Harvestasya is strongly linked with Eolia and comes the Legend of Raphlanca which is strongly linked to Frelia. Is that how the legends worked?????????????? Though only Harvestasya's Legend is the only one that gave me happiness for some reasons. Heavy, yet calm emotions...

@rainichan I noticed that typo as I sent it, but have only had an iPad for a month. You can't delete or edit comments on an iPad, or reply to, so I hope the old way of replying works for this. There’s something that’s bothering me about this very happy ending; I read that certain Reyvateils without human blood would disintegrate if they leave the range of the Towers. Does that mean they’re stuck on the Towers? Makes me happy my Reyva OC is a halfer lol 😅

aquagon_drag To be completely accurate, the song starts in Ar Ciela, and then continues with parts of the opening songs for the three games, which are both Hymmnos and Japanese. It then ends completely with part of Ec Tisia ~ Tarifa, which is once again Ar Ciela…although I admit I could be completely off track…

It depends on the dialect used really, there so far I think 3 or 4 different dialects and the songs often use them interchangeably Is like how "was yee ra" can be translated as "I'm happy" or "I will (action)" or "I become" depending on the context and alphabet being used
