Okay, HOLY SHIT. I knew the song would have a lot of emotion behind it, but I'm blown away. Knowing that's it's the entirety of the planet pouring its soul into grieving and raging at ALL of humanity makes this song wonderfully tragic. I'm used to Hymmnos songs implementing the singer's emotions and desires in it, but I'm fascinated by the gap between the Reyvateils singing and the planet itself. The human singers typically talk about lashing out for their negative emotions or Praising life in general while hoping for a beautiful future, but this is Ar Ciel, the Planet itself, vowing to kill and destroy every single human because of past transgressions. The ground beneath humanity's feet has given up on reconciliation and just wants them all dead, with a vengeance. That's POWERFUL. And both incredibly sad and terrifying.

I havent heard all the music from this series yet but this right here has got to be considered a masterpiece. It works even taken out of the context of the game and applied to our real world at the moment. Someone could easily make a video of huge natural disasters related to climate change set to this track. I'd go as far as to say that no other song I've ever heard, save for some classic stuff like O Fortuna, enters the level of art and emotion that this does. With all the crazy music I've heard from At3 Icant believe I havent seen more people say its their favorite in the series.

I've listen to ar music, but held back because I want to play the games (but never got to it) because it is my weakness for music based worlds. But I said my self I do want to here a standout to turn the want to play into a HARD NEED. So I asked my friend and all he did was laugh and sent me this. And uhh... What does it mean to hit sensory overload? But First time I heard it my eye dilated, skin crawled, and started sweating the more it went. And now I can say I NEED TO PLAY THIS SERIES for this music if not anything other reason. The game itself is the cake on top of a cake

Ar ciel reminds me of Ashera, the goddess in Fire Emblem 9 & 10, she was decided to kill all humans (beorcs) and laguz after years of constant war and death

The parallels exist, and to some egree, Ashera is the birthmother to some degree liek Ar Ciel to many of these creatures.

Want to? I couldn't stop the tears, lol. 😭 At the end she's talking about humanity like her own children and clearly loves us but feels she has no choice but to destroy us in order to save the world. She's like "I raised you the best I could but it wasn't good enough". Putting the game story aside, that's how I read it.

I have been thinking about this for a while. This song, when taken out of context, is an accidental sequel to Michael Jackson's "Earth Song," isn't it?

Old comment, but to answer: It’s the planet’s message to all humanity, including our Heroes. It decided the wounds we inflicted upon it and ourselves were too deep- that we were inherently flawed- and had to go extinct if the planet or any lifeforms upon it had any chance. It’s sung as our heroes try to offer the planet the magical means to survive, and the planet rejects HARD. Nothing from humans could be trusted.

+水谷拓実 初めまして。ヒュムノスには6、7年前とある動画からEXEC_PAJA/.(ミシャ)を知ったことが切っ掛けとなって興味を持つようになりました。楽曲のインパクトも強く、最初聴いた時から気に入ったんですが、曲名のSFっぽさも凄く気になって色々と探し始めたら、とうとうヒュムコンを聴いたりアルトネシリーズをプレイしたりするようになりました。歌詞動画はニコ動で幾つかの歌詞動画を見ていたら「自分も作りたい」と思ってしまって作り始めたのですね^^;

Don't pretend like Zamasu was motivated by anything other than vainglory. The excuse that humans/mortals cause problems doesn't seem to stop him from addressing demons or his own kind, who are FAR from perfect.
