just binged your app critique vids, thanks, very useful, you're a great communicator and make it easy to follow along even when you're talking about more granular details is there a reason why you've moved to this framework of talking about each topic? have you had feedback that its too hard to follow in previous vids? ive got a critique later in the week and will likely use something similar to your approach in this vid, its easier to compartmentalise the critique as a whole

Thank you! Yes, previously my critique videos were mainly focused on heuristics for some pages or features. But I think with a persona or task framework it'd help organize your thoughts more clearly to avoid rambling on during an interview!

@@paintpops got it, thanks. i did a mock critique last night and was definitely leaning on the rambly side. so it makes sense to be thinking with a persona/task in mind to keep things focused

Great video, thanks for sharing. For an app critique interview do I need to mention to the interviewer what framework will I be using?

Thank you! You don't have to explicitly name the framework if you don't want to, but it'd be helpful to at least let the interviewer know how you plan to approach the critique. Whether you plan to critique from the perspective of a user or if you're trying to complete a specific task. This way the interviewer understands why you picked out specific elements of the app to comment on!
