I used to love CH but I had to get rid of it because it was so hard to use. After an update, they made it so you were seeing random rooms as opposed to rooms with people you follow inside. You can’t search rooms or even see a list of all rooms possible to join. And some of the room titles are so problematic.

This was fascinating to watch. Thank you. This makes me question what clubhouses goals are apart from audio spaces, the tons of guesswork you had to do was appaling. I'm curious if the main apps UI is a result of a small team that hadn't thought of all those use cases like filters for topics and stuff. Thanks for creating this !

Thank you for your comment! Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the UI holes will be addressed as the platform grows and they receive more feedback from users. The app blew up really quickly, so it is possible that they did not foresee a lot of the use cases they have today.

I don't use clubhouse, in fact i try to just the absolute minimum amount of apps, as close to zero as i can get because for every app used you loose part of your humanity. I think we are fast becoming a society of robots - think about how much you interact with a computer vs real people, its scary that people give up their lives soo freely and are seemingly oblivious to the fact that they are more miserable as a result. Why does anyone need a clubhouse? Do people need another distraction? are the endless amounts of videos on youtube, netflix and endless scrolling on Instagram not enough? I think the world needs government intervention. People are quick to talk down about communist China restricting everything but at the same time people are not capable of making the right decisions to benefit their own lives - if we could we wouldnt eat take away food at all right. I think the government seriously need to ban 99.9% of all social media access and platforms if not all of it. The government should be the ones in control of what is put out because content should be geared towards enriching peoples lives through education only. Forms of entertainment should also be government prescribed because it is as easy if not easier to overdose on entertainment and watch your life away as it is to get addicted to alcohol. In fact both alcohol and entertainment are too easily accessible which begs the question as to whether the government have peoples best interests at heart when they have the power to abolish alcohol which again has zero benefits to life but they have not done so. I have personally been trying to get into UX design for a while but i am finding it hard. You have to put soo many ethics and morals aside just to get work done (which is why you can see mark zuckerberg has turned into well, the person you see he is today). You have to make soo many excuses for things. It is unclear to me what the point of clubhouse is for a user because at the foundation is a group of founders who are just trying to create something that will make them as rich as possible, i say this because they are serial founders whos other ideas have not hit and why else would you start your platform as some kind of limited access celebrity hang out. So you have a platform whos foundations are not based on bettering the standard of lives of users and instead are working backwards and that makes for a disingenuous app - which is why there is no intrinsic value to using it. It speaks volumes and volumes about our society - its is soo troubling that if people could see past the end of their noses they would be alarmed. Anyway cool vid I like you teaching style and personality. Oh and kpop is the best lol and kdramas. I'm almost fluent in Korean now which is great!
