HOW TO MAKE AN UV RESIN JEWELRY?
Hello, Everyone!! In this video, I am making another UV resin earring. I made wire frames using 1 mm thick aluminum wire, cut aluminum foil into shape to add in the earrings and then used UV resin and hooks to create one complete earring, ready to be worn.

    Te cura bien la resina negra? La luz ultravioleta no pasa a través del negro

  • @CharmsDIY

    @CharmsDIY

    10 ай бұрын

    Aplico una fina capa de resina UV negra y curo la capa para que haya muchas posibilidades de que se seque por completo. Además, la capa se encuentra entre las capas transparentes que se curan adecuadamente, por lo que no tengo muchos problemas al respecto.

    Hi! Thank you for the beauty!❤Do you not use some kind of finishing coating besides UV resin? After all, UV resin still does not turn out to be as glassy as epoxy🤔...

  • @CharmsDIY

    @CharmsDIY

    11 ай бұрын

    No, I don't. It might not be as glassy as epoxy but it cures hard and fine as long as it cures properly.

    What is the tool you are using to squirt the UV resin with??

  • @CharmsDIY

    @CharmsDIY

    10 ай бұрын

    The tool I am using is a silicone brush. It works just like a normal brush, it does not squirt resin. Many are confused and mistaken about it because of the way the video is edited.😔 I have edited out the parts where I go back and forth to dip the brush in the UV resin to decrease the video length.

    I too have noticed that some earrings hooks get dark with time and some don't. I guess it depends on the quality of the hooks. 🙁

    How many earring can be made using 20grm UV resin..pls tell me and is it necessary to use UV lamp for drying or it will dry after 1day without uvlamp

  • @CharmsDIY

    @CharmsDIY

    Жыл бұрын

    You can make about 5 earrings using 20 gm UV resin but it also depends on the size and shape of the earring. It will be beneficial to have a UV lamp but it is not necessary. You can let the UV resin cure under the sun as well but it takes more time. On sunny days, UV resin cures faster and better. It needs UV light for reaction to occur and cure, so UV light either from artificial light or sunlight is needed unlike epoxy resin that cures after a day or two.

    How do you get the cured resin off of the tape so easily? It always sticks and leaves so much tape residue on the backs, for me.

  • @CharmsDIY

    @CharmsDIY

    5 ай бұрын

    Pieces come out easily while using resin tape than other tape. Sometimes the tape residue remains but it is easier to remove them. This usually happens to me when I leave the tape exposed to air for a longer period of time. So, I pour resin as soon as I stick the frames onto the tape.
