    I’m working on a video currently to show how I price my items and I will show my booth in the video to give you an idea of how I do it. These particular earrings I sell for 10 dollars but it really depends on many factors. Keep an eye out for the pricing video!

    Hello- questions for you. I am repurposing parts of my Granny's wedding dress for all of her Granddaughters can have a piece. The under layer of her wedding dress is lace, and I thought it would be beautiful to make earrings like this with lace. Do you feel like this is A: is this possible with lace B: any tips with lace (just follow the same steps?

    That’s a lovely idea! Fabric can be tricky. To get the best results I would seal the fabric before adding it to your resin project. I would use maybe a sealing spray or find a good fabric sealer first on each side. Let that dry completely and then add it to your project. It will keep the lace from discoloring and hopefully prevent air bubbles from coming out of the fabric and ruining your project. It might take a couple trial runs to get it right, so I would suggest cutting tiny pieces to practice with first. Or maybe even using a different lace to practice before using the precious fabric of her dress for the final project. That way you can see what sealant works best on lace. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching! ❤️

    What's the tape or plastic under the earrings...can you do it without being UV resin

  • @leehomestead3424

    @leehomestead3424

    The tape is uv resin tape. You need it to keep the resin in the bezel. You can use regular resin for this too and wait overnight for it to cure.

    I have that happen sometimes too. :(. It usually happens when the bezel isn’t completely flush with the tape. For an extra step you could try putting hot glue around the outer edges before pouring resin in. That can help keep it in better.

    Once you take them off of the tape the backs will need the uv light on them and then clean them with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip.
